Mahathir posted his article claiming that "MERITOCRACY IS RACIST", what Mahathir is indirectly trying to say is that Malays are stupid or were born stupid, so any form of fair competition between Malays and other races, they will surely lose out. Though I am a Chinese, Mahathir has insulted the intelligence of many of my Malay relatives and friends. Let's lodge a police report nationwide to bring him to jail...he can call Ibrahim Ali stupid, but not all the Malays!!

His article is reproduced below as well as my reply to him:

1. In 1964 Malaysia held its first elections. The Tunku had an understanding with the Chief Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Kwan Yew that the PAP (People Action Party) would contest only in Singapore and would stay out of the rest of Malaysia. It was really not a smart kind of agreement. It was not put on paper at all. Only an understanding between two leaders.

DEAR MAHATHIR: BECAUSE TUNKU ALSO PROMISED LEE NOT TO CONTEST IN SINGAPORE, BUT HE BROKE THE PROMISE BY CAMPAIGNING FOR UMNO CANDIDATES IN SINGAPORE. ELECTION RESULT: UMNO LOST IN ALL MALAY-MAJORITY CONSTITUENCIES IN SINGAPORE. UMNO WAS ALARMED AT THE PROSPECTS OF THE "SPILLOVER" EFFECTS!!!

2. It was not surprising that the PAP decided to contest in the peninsular. Lee had expected the Malaysian Chinese who had been represented in the Government only by the MCA could be persuaded to support him. If he defeated the MCA then the Tunku would replace the MCA with the PAP in the Alliance.

DEAR MAHATHIR: PAP DID NOT HAVE TO DEFEAT MCA TO REPLACE THEM IN THE ALLIANCE. IN FACT, INVITATION WAS EXTENDED TO PAP TO BE IN THE ALLIANCE.

3. The PAP is a Chinese party largely. But it had always projected itself as non-racial. To win in Malaysia he had to appeal to Chinese chauvinism. However he could not do this openly.

4. Being the astute politician that he is, Lee came up with a slogan which did not sound chauvinistic but which played up Chinese sentiments to the core. The slogan was "Malaysian Malaysia".

DEAR MAHATHIR: MALAYSIAN MALAYSIA IS ABOUT AN ASPIRATION TO MAKE MALAYSIA A TRULY "INCLUSIVE" COUNTRY. EVERYBODY COUNTS...

5. While appearing to be appealing for all Malaysians the slogan was clearly suggesting that there was no equality between the Chinese and the Malays. He and his party was made out to be fighting for equality between the Chinese and the Malays, whereas the MCA represented only the Chinese towkays.

DEAR MAHATHIR: MR. LEE MENTIONED TIME AND AGAIN ABOUT IMPROVING THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF POOR MALAY FARMERS BY ENABLING THEM TO BE MORE COMPETITIVE. HE WAS ALSO FIGHTING FOR THE INEQUALITY BETWEEEN POOR MALAYS AND RICH MALAYS. MCA REPRESENTED MORE THAN CHINESE TOWKAYS AT THAT TIME. THROUGHOUT YOUR 22 YEARS OF PREMIERSHIP, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SUBSTANTIALLY IMPROVE MALAYS SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY?? YOU ONLY FATTENED THE COFFERS OF YOUR CRONIES!!!

6. The Malays were alarmed at the prospect of the Peninsular Chinese combining with Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak Chinese to outnumber them. Split as they were between PAS and UMNO, their chances of continuing to dominate Malaysian politics was at risk.

DEAR MAHATHIR: IF WE PUT MALAYSIA AS OUR PRIORITY, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO OUTNUMBER WHO...

7. Strangely the PAP bid failed against the MCA. But the Tunku was shocked and decided that Singapore's inclusion in Malaysia posed great danger. One year after the election Singapore was expelled. But the PAP chauvinistic legacy was taken up by the DAP. And the slogan "Malaysian Malaysia" continued to figure in Malaysian politics, evolving into a new catchword, "Meritocracy". If "Malaysian Malaysia" conjures equality between races, "Meritocracy" implies something stronger. It implies dominance by the race with the greatest merit in every field; in education, in business and in all fields of human endeavour.

DEAR MAHATHIR: I SERIOUSLY DON'T THINK MALAY CAN'T BE THE GREATEST IN EVERY FIELD. MALAYS, CHINESE, INDIANS, IBAN, MELANAU, ETC ARE ALL BORN WITH A BRAIN AND IT ALL DEPEND ON HOW WE TRAIN OUR BRAINS AND APPLY OUR BRAINS. SO WHY MALAYS CAN'T BE THE GREATEST? MAYBE I TELL YOU THE REASON WHY:
A). THEY ARE TOLD THEY WERE BORN STUPID AND BEYOND HOPE. (PLEASE READ YOUR BOOK "THE MALAY DILEMMA).

B). THEY ARE TAUGHT BY STUPID TEACHERS, LECTURERS AND UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS WHO ALSO THINK "WE WERE BORN STUPID". THOSE TEACHERS, LECTURERS AND UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS ARE SO AFRAID OF "MERITOCRACY" BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE "SECOND-CLASS", HOW CAN YOU EXPECT "SECOND-CLASS" PROFESSORS TO CHURN OUT "FIRST-CLASS" STUDENTS??? THEY MUST BE ALL REPLACED WITH FIRST-CLASS PROFESSORS FOR THE BENEFITS OF MALAY STUDENTS. THEREFORE, YOU SEE MANY "UNQUALIFIED" PROFESSORS" IN OUR "NATIONAL" UNIVERSITIES, THEY CONTINUE TO PREACH THE MESSAGE OF "THOU ART STUPID" TO MALAY STUDENTS.

8. When the Malays, understanding the implications, protest against meritocracy, they were condemned as racists. Faced with being labelled as such, most Malays dared not support even the NEP. Some, perhaps due to mistaken pride have begun to support meritocracy, undermining the Malay position further.

DEAR MAHATHIR: THOSE MALAYS WHO OPPOSE MERITOCRACY ARE LIKE YOU WHO BELIEVE MALAYS ARE STUPID AND BEYOND ANY HOPE AND REDEMPTION. AGAIN, LET ME REPEAT MYSELF, MALAYS CAN BE THE GREATEST IN ALL FIELDS. THEY NEED CONFIDENCE, THEY NEED THE BEST TEACHERS, LECTURERS AND PROFESSORS (UNFORTUNATELY OUR MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IS THE DUMPING GROUND FOR THE UNEMPLOYED AND "UNABLE"). 9. Today we see a lot of Malay NGOs trying to defend the Malay position. Invariably they have been labelled racists. The unfortunate truth is that those who labelled them are equally racists because of their advocacy of meritocracy.

DEAR MAHATHIR: THESE NGO MEMBERS ARE BELIEVERS OF "MALAYS ARE STUPID", SO THEY THINK MERITOCRACY WILL FINISH THEM OFF. THESE NGO MEMBERS THENSELVES MAY BE STUPID, BUT NOT MALAY PEOPLE!!!

10. It is the same with political party which appeal on the basis of the religion of Islam. In Malaysia the Malays are all Muslims. There are quite a large number of Indian Muslims in Malaysia but they do not figure in the political party said to be Islamic. The party, by using Islam, knows full well they are appealing to Malays almost exclusively. But the intention is not to defend the Malays but merely to gain their support. One can say they are not Malay racists. Rather they are Malay political opportunists.

DEAR MAHATHIR: PAS IS BETTER BECAUSE PAS WILL TELL MALAYS THAT "THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ALLAH SHALL GAIN WISDOM BECAUSE ALLAH IS ALMIGHTY"--THIS IS TRUE ISLAM. HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN ALLAH ALMIGHTY BE STUPID?? INSTEAD THEY SHALL PROSPER IN ALL THINGS. (I READ THE QURAN-ENGLISH VERSION). THOSE WHO REFUSE TO LET MUSLIMS DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM ARE ANTI-ISLAM. HOW CAN "UMNO-MUSLIMS" LIVE IN A PARADOX THAT THEY BELIEVE IN THE ALL-MIGHTY ALLAH, AND YET THEY ARE STUPID? 11. That is why they find no difficulty in switching tactics in order to win the support of the non-Malays. Where before they condemn UMNO for working with non-Muslims, today their co-operation with non-Muslims knows no bounds.

DEAR MAHATHIR: ALLAH CREATED MANKIND, SO YOU AND I WERE CREATED BY ALLAH, AGREE? PAS WORKS WITH NON-MUSLIMS TO WIN THEM OVER FOR ALLAH. WHY? BECOZ NON-MUSLIMS SEE U AND OTHER UMNOPUTRAS, THEY WILL NEVER WANT TO BE MUSLIMS FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE. BUT WHEN THEY SEE RAJA PETRA KAMARUDIN, NIZAR, KHALID SAMAD, DR. 12. The difference between UMNO and the other parties is that UMNO is openly partisan, not hiding its concern for the well-being of the Malays. Unfortunately because of mismanagement it has become weak. That is why today we have Perkasa and other Malay NGOs who are as openly concerned about the Malays as the UMNO once was. The condemnation by those said to be advocating meritocracy is because they see the racism of the meritocrats, just as the Malays of 1964 saw the racism of "Malaysian Malaysia".

13. What we are seeing today is not a campaign against racism but a campaign by racists against racists. The meritocrats are as much racists as the Malay NGOs, and Perkasa.

Brunei Smartest, Singapore Smarter, Sarawak Stupid, Sabah Most Stupid Beyond Redemption!! (Part-1. Brunei)

I don't have to be a Malaysian history expert or professor to talk about the formation of Malaysia. Tunku Abdul Rahman "invited" Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore to form "Federation of Malaysia" with Malaya. Therefore, Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore could have more privileges and special rights than "any of the states in Malaya", in short, they should not be deemed as just one of the states in the Federation of Malaysia, they ought to be treated as a "treaty-member" with Malaya!

Let's look at Brunei in Part-1:

The Brunei Sultanate would have ceased to exist as an independent state without Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saiffuddien.
In August 1963, Indonesia was opposing the proposed Federation of Malaysia and confronting Malaya and Singapore. Only eight months earlier, on 8 December 1962, Brunei had faced a revolt by Sheikh Azahari of the Partai Rakyat Brunei (PRB) and British forces from Singapore had flown in to put down the rebellion.
It was a time of great peril when the Sultan decided not to join the proposed Federation. Singapore went ahead and joined the Federation. Sultan Omar Ali was under great pressure from the British who had hinted that they would be leaving the region soon. But he stood firm.
He put his position as Sultan and the fate of his people on the line. His judgment was that the British would be responsible enough to give him some time to get his country in better shape before British forces left.

The late Sultan was a modest man. He was soft-spoken, with a frequent smile when speaking to his friends. He lived a simple and frugal life.
On May 1961, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Malayan Prime Minister, at an address to the Foreign Correspondents Association in Singapore, mooted the formation of Malaysia, to include Brunei, Sarawak, North Borneo (subsequently to be named Sabah), Singapore and Malaya.
On 5 December 1961, Sultan Sir Omar Ali described the Malaysia proposal as very attractive. In January 1962, he appointed a Brunei-Malaysia Commission to report on the opinion of the people. On 18 July 1962, the Sultan stated that he accepted the Malaysia proposal in principal, but that did not necessarily mean it was final.
If agreement could not be reached on important conditions affecting benefits to the people and the state, Brunei would not participate in the Malaysia plan.
In August 1962, the Partai Rakyat Brunei (PRB) won a landslide election victory in four District Councils, which in turn would choose 16 members for the Legislative Council (LegCo). The PRB won 54 seats and had all the 16 members required for the LegCo.
But they could not form the government. The 17 government nominees outnumbered the PRB in the 33-member Council. Sheikh Azahari, leader of the PRB, rejected the proposal that Brunei join the proposed Malaysian Federation.
Azahari put forward three motions at the LegCo meeting, for 5 December 1962; first, to reject the proposal of a Malaysian Federation; second, to request the restoration of Brunei's sovereignty over Sarawak and North Borneo and the installation of the Sultan as constitutional monarch of the North Borneo Federation; and third, a request to the British to grant independence to Brunei not later than 1963.
The Speaker of the LegCo disallowed the motions because the issues fell within the purview of the British government under the 1959 British-Brunei Agreement. Sheikh Azahari, the PRB leader then decided to resort to a military solution and staged a rebellion led by its military wing, Tentera Nasional Kalimantan Utara (TNKU).
The revolt began on December 8. It was put down in short order by British forces flown in from Singapore. On 20 December, Sultan Omar Ali declared a State of Emergency, suspended the Constitution, dissolved the LegCo, and appointed a 14-member Emergency Council comprising four ex-officio members, including the British High Commissioner, Sir Denis White, and 10 members nominated by the Sultan.
Negotiations on Malaysia were resumed in earnest following the end of the rebellion. The sultan did not accept the terms that Malaya offered him. When the Malaysia Agreement was signed on 9 July 1963 in London, Singapore, North Borneo and Sarawak signed on. Brunei did not. He was very firm in his decision not to join. As a result, after Malaysia was formed on 16 September 1963, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, recalled hundreds of Malaysian teachers and government officers seconded to serve the Brunei administration. Their departure caused a temporary dislocation in Brunei.
Several accounts were given to explain the reason for Brunei's decision not to join the Malaysian Federation. One account cited disagreement over oil revenues as the primary cause. Kuala Lumpur wanted Brunei to hand over control of its oil to the federal government after 10 years. Kuala Lumpur also wanted to immediately tax any new oil and mineral finds discovered after Brunei joined Malaysia and to make the Sultan's contribution of $40 million to the federal revenues compulsory rather than voluntary. The Sultan was said to have found these terms unacceptable.
Another account from Kuala Lumpur alluded to the Sultan's unhappiness over the issue of royal precedence. Sir Omar was neither willing to compromise Brunei's control over its oil revenues nor ready to have his privileges as the Ruler of Brunei curtailed. More to the point, the vibes that Sultan Omar Ali felt during the negotiations were that he would become subordinate to Kuala Lumpur's leaders and he would rank behind Malaysian's nine Sultans in seniority, besides giving up a chunk of this oil wealth to KL. He met Lee Kuan Yuan soon after Singapore was asked to leave Malaysia in August 1965, he nodded with satisfaction that his decision not to join was wiser than Singapore's acceptance of Malaysia.
Just over two months after Malaysia was formed, on 1 December 1963, the British Colonial Office cut its long-term connection with Brunei. The British High Commissioner in Brunei, no longer called the British Resident, henceforth would deal with Secretary of State for Commonwealth.
When the Labour Government took office in 1964, it became clear that sooner or later they would withdraw their forces from east of Suez. This would jeopardise Brunei's secure position as a protectorate. British advisers pressed the Sultan to hasten the implementation of constitutional reforms so that there could be a democratic government in place. In March 1965, a second general election was held for District and Legislative Councillors. 36 candidates contested for 10 LegCo seats in the 21-member LegCo that would comprise six ex-officio members and five members nominated by the Sultan. 88 candidates fought for seats in four Districts Councils. A large number of candidates contesting under political parties were defeated by independents because the political parties were weak.
On 4 October 1967, Sultan Omar Ali, then aged only 53, abdicated in favour of his 21-year-old son, Hassanal Bolkiah, born on July 1946. It was a strategic move he made to buy time before a British withdrawal. Protracted negotiations with the British on Brunei's future continued following the abdication. The Sultan, now the Seri Begawan, dragged out the discussions. He wanted the son to get familiar with the administration. Moreover, his son was only 21 years old. He deflected pressure to adopt the British adversarial Parliamentary system.
He argued with the British that he needed a few years for the young Sultan to learn the ropes and strengthen the domestic situation ahead of any constitutional changes. He bought time from 1963 to 1983, over 20 years, when the British finally withdrew, and Brunei became an independent state. Without the skilful and determined stand taken by Sultan Omar Ali in the full knowledge that he was risking the future of his Sultanate if the British were to leave precipitately, he saved his dynasty, delayed majority rule before Brunei was ready, and secured Brunei's continued defence by an agreement to pay for one British Gurkha battalion that would stay in Brunei but under British control. A discreet presence remained.
The Seri Begawan has preserved Brunei's oil wealth. He left the bulk of his country's reserves with the Crown Agents to manage. He was fortunate that Britain acted with responsibility. Most of all, the Seri Begawan played his hand with considerable skill. He pleaded for time to educate enough local Bruneians who could manage the administration of the country.

Less than three years after independence, on 7 September, 1986, he passed away. He was deeply mourned by the people of Brunei. They knew that he had saved their independence and are able to live as they wish, keeping their oil wealth. It was Sir Omar's statecraft. He built the infrastructure of state. By the 1980s, he had given the sultanate's 200,000 people a high per capita income of US$20,000, among the world's most privileged. He strengthened Brunei's Islamic institutions.
Sultan Omar Ali took calculated risks with courage. He has a keen sense of what was politically possible. During the 17 years from 1950 to 1967, he brought economic, social and political developments to Brunei. With two Five-Year Development Plans, he provided for an education system throughout the state.
He built schools to teach English, gave scholarships to promising young students to study in overseas institutions. He provided school children with at least one free meal a day. Religious schools were given high priority. Hospitals, clinics were set up and dental services to schools were provided.
He eradicated dysentery and malaria. He provided electricity for the whole state. He developed the roads and telecommunication system. He reclaimed swamp lands and resettled people.
He set up the Royal Brunei Malay Regiment in 1961, which evolved into the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The Currency Board was established in 1967. Sultan Omar Ali has ensured the survival of an independent Malay Muslim monarchy at the end of the 20th century.
He has built a strong foundation before passing the mantle to his eldest son. His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has guided Brunei since independence in 1984, a 25-year period, during which Brunei has progressed in material and social terms.
The old Sultan would have been happy to know that an independent Sultanate in Brunei has progressed in the quarter century after independence. His son, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, has preserved his heritage. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has continued to expand the numbers of abler Bruneians who are educated abroad, and created a thicker layer of the higher educated and well-informed elite.

In December 1964, a year after Malaysia was formed, the Malaysian government decided to terminate the Board of Commissioners of Currency and to issue a new currency for Malaya, Singapore and the Borneo territories, including Brunei.
The Malaya-British Borneo Currency Agreement was terminated two years later. The Malaysian government in Kuala Lumpur declined Brunei's request that it be given a seat on the policy-making body. Also, Malaysia opposed Brunei's request that the portrait of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia should not appear on the new notes. Hence, Brunei enacted legislation in January 1967 to form its own Currency Board.
During one of the Sultan Haji Omar Ali visits to Singapore after independence, he had smiled broadly and, with his eyes twinkling and his moustache twitching, saying to Lee Kuan Yew, "You are now like Brunei. It is better for you."

If Brunei joined the Federation of Malaysia, the state of Brunei would be poorer, much much poorer! And we the West Malaysians would be much much happier to have another obedient and stupid natural resources supplier, at cheapest cost! sigh, we failed to con them into our "Malaysia Plot" and now better known as "1Malaysia Plot"...

I wrote about the importance of 2-party system to "empower" the system of Monarchy in Malaysia. With Pakatan Rakyat emerging as a strong alternative to be reckoned with, Umno-led BN will do anything and everything to soothe, pacify, appease and please all the Rulers in the various States of Malaysia (if Pakatan Rakyat happens to form the next Federal Government, they will do likewise)!!
GONE were the days when Umno "instructed" Raja-Raja to behave themselves...
Tuanku, you may want to thank Pakatan Rakyat for the special surprised gifts from Umno! No worries, Pakatan Rakyat will present you with better gifts if they form the next Government of Malaysia.

Why the Pakatan Rakyat government was brought down in Perak

We all know what happened in Perak. What many do not know is why it happened.
If you can remember, it took one week for the Perak and Selangor state governments to get sworn in after the March 2008 general election. The Sultans of these two states wanted to first ‘discuss the matter’ with the Pakatan Rakyat State Assemblypersons. The Sultans then set certain terms and conditions before agreeing to swear in the new Pakatan Rakyat state governments.
This gap of one week allowed the old Barisan Nasional state governments time to remove and destroy quite a lot of very damaging evidence of the wrongdoings of the previous governments.
The one-week delay also allowed Barisan Nasional to negotiate the possibility of PAS teaming up with Umno to form the state governments in Perak and Selangor. Umno even agreed that PAS would become the Menteris Besar of these two states. And, to add icing to the cake, Umno even agreed to allow PAS to implement Islamic laws in these two states.
But PAS stayed loyal to their two other partners in Pakatan Rakyat, PKR and DAP, and they declined Umno’s offer. Finally, the two Sultans had no choice but to swear in the Pakatan Rakyat state governments in Perak and Selangor. But this did not stop them from plotting behind the scenes on how to bring down the governments.
The Sultan of Selangor was quite prepared to consider the whole matter a fait accompli. After all, Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor had a clear majority and it would be quite difficult to buy off so many State Assemblypersons. But Perak was another matter altogether. Pakatan Rakyat’s majority in Perak was thinner than in Selangor.
As soon as the new state government had been put in place, the Sultan of Perak began asking for this, that and the other. The Pakatan Rakyat Perak state government would have been quite prepared to tolerate some of the demands of the Perak Palace for the sake of maintaining a good relationship with the Palace. But what the Sultan and his family wanted was just too excessive and the Pakatan Rakyat Perak state government had no choice but to say no to the Sultan’s demands.
And this, of course, upset the Sultan. So, when Pakatan Rakyat lost its majority in the Perak State Assembly, it did not take too much persuading for the Sultan to agree to swear in a new Barisan Nasional state government.
At first, the Sultan was not too sure whether he should kick out the Pakatan Rakyat state government in favour of a Barisan Nasional government. When the Pakatan Rakyat Menteri Besar, Nizar Jamaluddin, went before the Sultan to request that the State Assembly be dissolved to make way for fresh state elections, the Sultan said he would think about it first. But immediately after that the Prime Minister, Najib Tun Razak, went to meet the Sultan and the Sultan was persuaded to reject the Pakatan Rakyat request to dissolve the State Assembly and instead he swore in Barisan Nasional as the new state government.
Najib’s ‘persuasion’ was simple. Nazrin, his son, should not be the Raja Muda of Perak. And this means he should also not be the next Sultan. And in the event that the Sultan dies, as surely he will one day, the federal government will not support Nazrin as the next Sultan of Perak. See what happened to Negeri Sembilan. Although the Yamtuan appointed his son as the regent, this does not mean he becomes the next Yamtuan.
So, Nazrin’s succession to the Perak throne depends on the goodwill of the federal government. But only if the state government is a Barisan Nasional government will there be this goodwill. If Pakatan Rakyat remains the state government, then expect Nazrin to pay the price when his time comes to succeed his father.
Furthermore, the Sultan and his family has asked for a lot of things from the Pakatan Rakyat state government, all of which they rejected. Umno will ensure that the Sultan and his family get whatever they want if Barisan Nasional takes over as the Perak state government.
And with that Pakatan Rakyat’s fate was sealed. The Sultan swore in Barisan Nasional as the new Perak state government and Pakatan Rakyat was sent into the opposition aisle.
What was it that the Sultan and his family wanted which Pakatan Rakyat said no to and which Barisan Nasional has now said yes? Yes, let us see how in just a few months the Sultan and his family has suddenly become one of the richest royal families in Malaysia, of course, at the expense of Pakatan Rakyat.
1. Umno gave the Sultan a piece of state land known as lot 183578. The land is approximately 600 acres in size and is at Tanjong Tualang in the district of Kinta. This land has been parked under the name of the Sultan’s proxy, Mohamed Khaair Johari Hj Osman.
2. Umno gave the Sultan a 1,000-acre timber concession along the 11km Gerik-Kupang highway in Ulu Kenderong, Gerik, Hulu Perak. This concession was originally given to Universiti Utara Malaysia. However, it was later revoked and given to Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak whose Chairman is Raja Datuk Seri Ashman Shah Ibni Sultan Azlan Shah.
3. Umno gave the Sultan seven timber concessions at compartments 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 49 in the Kenderong Forest Reserve in Hulu Perak. The seven lots, which come to approximately 600 acres, were parked under two proxy companies of the Sultan -- Syarikat Zotonjaya Sdn Bhd and Kibaran Wang Sdn Bhd.
4. Umno is about to approve a proposal for reforestation involving 10,781 hectares. 5,781 hectares is at the Gunung Besout Forest Reserve in Southern Perak while 5,000 hectares is at Pondok Tanjung in the Larut Matang district. The company that will get this huge project is Permatang Utama Sdn Bhd (company registration number 513583-D) whose Executive Chairman is Datuk Seri Ismail Farouk Abdullah, the Sultan’s son-in-law.
5. Further to that, Datuk Seri Ismail Farouk Abdullah was allowed to take over the state-owned Casuarina Hotel in Ipoh for a negotiated cut throat price of only RM43 million whereas it can fetch a far higher price on the open market. The hotel is located in one of the most prime land in Ipoh and just the empty land alone is worth a huge amount of money.
It is not that the Perak Royal Family is destitute. It is more like they are greedy. Raja Datuk Seri Eleena Azlan Shah is a Director of GAMUDA BERHAD and is Malaysia's 25th richest person with assets worth over RM 773 million. This makes her the second richest woman in Malaysia after Puan Sri Chong Chook Yew, who occupies the number 18 slot with more than RM 1 billion in assets.
Gamuda Berhad has been awarded more than RM10 billion worth of contracts. It also operates and maintains 230 kilometres of highways plus is a major township and property developer with four township projects involving more than 30,000 houses.
So there you have it. Perakians, in particular the Malays, think that the opposition is not showing the Sultan of Perak the respect he deserves. What they do not know is the Sultan does not deserve any respect. And many are also not aware why the Sultan wanted Pakatan Rakyat kicked out of Perak.
Now, we hope, they do.

Tuanku, without Pakatan Rakyat UMNO will become Absolute Sultan of Malaysia...

KUALA KRAU, Sept 24 – The Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, has called on the people to continue supporting the government so that more social, economic and educational developments would be implemented for them.
He said the people should stick with the Barisan Nasional (BN) government as the development agenda lined-up for the short and long term would bring them continuous benefits.
The construction of the RM64 million Kuala Krau bridge across the Pahang river was just one example of the sustainable developments that would benefit the people living along the riverbanks, he said.
“The Kuala Krau bridge will help reduce the time spent for making the 55km trip between Bandar Tun Razak in Jengka and Kuala Krau, to just 20 minutes from one hour previously.
“Besides, the bridge will also act as catalyst for economic development in Bandar Tun Razak, Jerantut and Temerloh. It will also benefit 60,000 people in Jerantut, Temerloh and Maran by reducing the trip to just 22km,” he told reporters after visiting the construction site here today.
Also present were Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, Kuala Krau Member of Parliament Datuk Ismail Mohamad Said and Jenderak assemblyman Datuk Mohamad Jaafar.
The Sultan also called on the Public Works Department (JKR) to ensure that a motorcycle lane be built on the bridge to ensure the safety of motorcyclists.
Earlier, state JKR director Datuk Rosman Yahaya said the construction of the bridge, which began in August 2007, was expected to be completed by next February.
He said it was 82 per cent completed, adding that the four-lane bridge, with its attractive design, would also be the new landmark for the Kuala Krau constituency. – Bernama

Patik is writing to you to inform you that the emergence of Pakatan Rakyat is to the benefits of Malaysia's constitutional Monarchy.

If my memory serves me right, since early 80s Umno has come into conflict with Sultans and Palaces of various States, and patik believe that Tuanku has full knowledge of where the conflicts originated from -- it is none of than the "Conflict of Interests and Power".

If Tuanku is to promote and support UMNO to have absolute power, then patik can guarantee that UMNO will launch another round of constitutional amendment to reduce the power of Monarchy so they can rule this country with blatant disregard to the rule of law.

Rakyat are looking up to the Monarchy as a pillar to safeguard the rights of the Rakyat (be it Muslims or Non-Muslims) and be the head and protector of Islamic faith.

Tuanku may forget that how you and your Royal brothers in Malaysia were embarassed and humiliated by UMNO in the press and TV controlled by UMNO and it was Tengku Razaleigh who went against all odds to defend the dignity of Monarchy in parliament. However, the opposition led by Tengku Razaleigh in the 90s was too weak to defend the Monarchy. The good news is we have Pakatan Rakyat today, Tuanku, don't you understand the tactic of "divide and rule"? Isn't it true that the Sultans of Selangor, Perak, Perlis and Terrenganu can talk "louder" to UMNO today? And your Royal brothers of Perak, Trenganu and Perlis can now have their choice of Menteri Besars, which could never happen before March 2008 and without Pakatan Rakyat UMNO can easily cultivate absolute power and eventually overshadow the Monarchy. Both UMNO and Pakatan Rakyat are desperately after you and your Royal brothers today, UMNO won't "hentam" royal palace anymore in newspaper or TV as they did in the 80s and 90s, instead, they will "grant" Tuanku more logging concessions to win your support and endorsement, UMNO warlords will have to think twice when they come into conflict of interests with palace, because this triangle love has unexpectedly empowered Tuanku and your Royal brothers to really "rule" the state.

Tuanku, the late Sultan of Selangor knew his Menteri Besar was involved in corruption and His Majesty even threw a copy of cheque in front of Tun Dr. Mahathir and asked why a Menteri Besar of His state could amass unexplained wealth of such a huge amount, His Majesty wanted Tun Dr. Mahathir to do something about it and as we know Tun Dr. Mahathir did not do anything about it --isn't it an act of treason "derhaka"!!...Tuanku, weren't you be informed of this incident?

Tuanku, the relevancy of Monarchy lies with how much the Sultans care for His subjects and protect the Rakyat against the brutal rule of corrupt regime. Tuanku, you may not have experienced or suffered from poverty before, but patik can tell you that there are many of your subjects who are still earning as little as RM500 per month and due to poor management of resources and corruption, many of your subjects still fail to progress as they ought to. Those states without Sultans like Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, UMNO MEN are behaving like Sultan and Tuanku, may patik inform you that certain UMNO warlords in Sabah could even be richer than you, and the sons of Tun Dr. Mahathir and Tun Abdullah Badawi are much much much more richer than your Tengku Mahkota.

Tuanku, patik believe that you are a great Sultan who really cares for the wellbeing of your subjects...what UMNO told us about your extravagant spending overseas are all nonsense and rubbish to me. Patik wishes your good health and longevity!

SETIAP RAKYAT PAHANG TANGGUNG RM$3370 HUTANG?

KUANTAN, 3 September – Akibat dari jumlah hutang kerajaan negeri Pahang yang begitu besar, setiap rakyat Pahang, sama ada tua, muda, besar, kecil atau masih di dalam buaian sudah terpaksa menanggung hutang sebanyak RM3,370 seorang.
Inilah yang berlaku di Pahang ekoran saman terhadap kerajaan dan juga hutang yang terpaksa ditanggung oleh kerajaan negeri.
The Malaysian Insider sebelum ini telah melaporkan perihal tindakan dua buah syarikat, Spag’n Plantation Sdn Bhd dan Upayapadu (M) Sdn Bhd, yang menyaman Kerajaan Negeri Pahang, Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri Pahang dan Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Pahang kerana ingkar janji dengan saman masing-masing berjumlah RM209 juta dan RM24 juta.
Sebelum laporan tersebut, Kerajaan Negeri Pahang juga telah diheret ke mahkamah oleh Seruan Gemilang Makmur Sdn Bhd (SGM) kerana tuntutan hutang penghakiman berjumlah RM63 juta. SGM diberitakan telah mendapat perintah mandamus bagi memaksa Menteri Besar Pahang melunaskan bayaran ini.
Tuntutan hutang juga memaksa anak syarikat Kerajaan Negeri Pahang, Astana Golf & Country Club disita kerana kegagalan membayar tunggakan pinjaman berjumlah RM40 juta.
Terbaru, seperti didedahkan oleh Ahli Parlimen Indera Mahkota dari PKR, Azan Ismail, SGM sekali lagi telah mengemukakan saman kepada Kerajaan Negeri Pahang, kali ini saman ingkar janji yang berjumlah lebih RM100 juta.
Sebuah lagi syarikat, Asia Chart Sdn Bhd pula telah membuat dua saman berasingan terhadap Kerajaan Negeri Pahang dengan nilai hampir RM200 juta. Kedua-dua saman ini, menurut Azan telah difailkan di Mahkamah Tinggi Kuantan kira-kira dua minggu yang lalu.
Dalam pendedahannya, Azan menaksirkan bahawa jumlah keseluruhan saman yang diterima oleh Kerajaan Negeri Pahang pimpinan Umno dan BN, termasuk tuntutan dari pelbagai pihak ketika Pahang masih di bawah teraju Tun Khalil Yaakob, adalah dalam lingkungan RM5 bilion.
Bagi Azan, ini melambangkan sikap Kerajaan Negeri Pahang pimpinan Umno dan BN yang tidak bertanggungjawab serta memperjudikan masa depan negeri dan rakyatnya.
Azan tidak menjumpai alasan lain mengapa berlakunya sebegitu banyak tuntutan hutang terhadap Kerajaan Negeri Pahang, selain kerana masalah rasuah, kronisme, penyelewengan dana dan salahurus hasil negeri, sepanjang Pahang dikuasai oleh Umno dan BN.
Sementara kalangan pemimpin Umno dan BN mengumpul kekayaan dan mengagih laba dari kontrak demi kontrak yang diagih sesama sendiri, hak dan nasib rakyat Negeri Pahang diketepikan, keluh Azan.
Bila negeri mula menghadapi masalah, yang menjadi mangsa adalah rakyat, rakyatlah yang akan menanggung bebannya melalui kenaikan cukai tanah, cukai pintu dan sebagainya.

Tan Tiong Hong’s reply on additional Empat Ekor draw most ‘unsatisfactory’
The reply by the Deputy Finance Minister, Datuk Dr. Tan Tiong Hong, in Parliament to questions as to why the government approved an additional weekly draw on Thursday for Magnum Corporation’s Empat Nombar Ekor from twice to thrice weekly is most unsatisfactory.
It was most unfortunate that my DAP comrades and I were not given the opportunity to put supplementary questions to Datuk Dr. Tan to expose the hollowness of his reasons.
Datuk Dr. Tan told Parliament that the additional weekly Thursday draw was to reduce orcheck the illegal Empat Ekor syndicates. This is utter rubbish, for what the governmenthas done is the opposite, in encouraging the increase in activities of illegal Empat Ekorsyndicates from twice a week to three times a week. The other reason give by Datuk Dr. Tanthat the increase was to give the people more opportunities to have the chance to buy Empat Ekorto ‘strike’ the numbers they want is even more ridiculous, for by this reasoning, there should beEmpat Ekor draw every day, or even better, twice a day to give the people more chance to‘pursue’ the number they want. Datuk Dr. Tan and the Barisan Nasional government hadcompletely ignored the fact that at a period of great economic hardship, when moneyis tight, the additional Empat Ekor draw a week would have the adverse effect of wiping outthe hard-earned money of the people. No wonder shopkeepers and businessmen are finding times unbearably hard. The only beneficiary is Magnum Corporation, and its parent company, theMulti-Purpose Holdings whose share price yesterday was the all-time low of 84% cents when it wasone time boosted as worth $9 or $10 a share! Is this the MPH’s secret weapon to try to jack up its price?
Datuk Dr. Tan should tell Malaysians how much revenue the Government expects to get from the additional Empat Ekor draw a week, and what is the expected additional profits toMagnum Corporation and Multi-Purpose Holdings from such additional draw. Has the Malaysian economy become so bad that the government must encourage the people to gamble in order toget more revenue?
All the monies gained by the government and Magnum Corporation and Multi-Purpose Corporationwill be at the expense and hardship of the people, and clearly is not only against the national interest,but directly against the whole spirit of the government’s Islamisation programme to instil moral valuesin our society.
The MCA is becoming the gamblers’ party, whose leaders are not only gambling away thepeople’s rights and interest, but want the people to gamble away their money as well.It is significant that both Neo Yee Pan and Tan Koon Swan MCA factions have not dared totake a public stand to call on government to cancel the additional Thursday draw for Empat Ekor,which shows that both factions are no different when it comes to the peoples basic issues!
Labuan as a bunkering station for US naval vessels and as possible replacement for US base at Subic Bay in Phlippines?
I wish to clarify some newspaper reports that the Deputy Defence Minister, Datuk Abang Abu Bakar had, in his reply to my supplementary question, denied that Labuan would become a bunkering stationfor US vessels and possible replacement for Subic Bay in Phillipines for US navy in future.
I had asked whether the proposed submarine-building programme of Sabah Shipyard Sdn Bhdhad any connection with the proposal to convert Pulau Kraman in Labuan as a bunkering stationfor US Navy, and as a possible replacement for the US Naval base in Subic Bay in the Philippinesshould the US had to withdraw from the Philippines. All that Datuk Abang Abu Bakar said was ‘the question does not arise’ – which could mean either there is truth or no truth in the connection.The Defence Ministry should come out with a clear-cut statement on this question!

Dato Dr. Tan is my personal friend, we met quite often in Singapore to discuss business deals few years ago and we did travel to China to explore business opportunities. I like being with this former MCA MP cum deputy Minister for his gentlemanliness, humility and mildness; his great ideas always inspire me. To me, Dato Dr. Tan is truly a scholar, thinker, successful businessman and a man of integrity! Anyway, this article has nothing to do with Dato Dr. Tan.

I read the above press release by Mr. Lim Kit Siang in 1985 a week ago, I can't help but feel prompted to write something about the gambling issues in Malaysia.

1. I challenged UMNO to uphold Islamic teachings to completely ban gambling in Malaysia, I even wrote to Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to clamp down on ALL gambling activities in Malaysia.

2. I wrote an open letter to DAP last year to urge DAP to support the closure of casino, 4-D, ToTo, horse-racing operations in Malaysia as I suspect them of being Umno's "lackey" to legally suck non-Muslims as well as some bodoh Muslims hard-earned money in our country.

3. I explained how these gambling monies have been used by Umno/BN to manipulate the rakyat.

4. I further explained that the support for gambling by non-Muslim political parties like MCA, DAP, Gerakan are perceived as anti-Islam by many Malays (though many Malays like to buy 4-D and ToTo!)

5. When Umno has to explain to Malays about the legalization of gambling in Malaysia, they accuse Chinese of being inveterate gamblers -"Chinese addiction for gambling is beyond redemption, if they don't gamble, they will DIE, so we Umno has to respect human rights and give in to this unreasonable/unIslamic demand. And Chinese are so happy to gratefully and graciously accept this "compliment"; for too long MCA and Chinese of unsound mind have been hysterically barking at PAS: GIVE ME GAMBLING OR GIVE ME DEATH...

6. Chinese can bow down before Umno and beg them: Please prostitute my wife and daughters, enslave my sons, I am willing to pawn my children education and healthcare, but please please don't close casino, 4-D, ToTo, Horse-Racing for they are my hope, my joy and my future...

7. The Chinese bow down before Umno and say:"please please don't close casino, 4-D, ToTo and Horse-Racing for we will wholeheartedly make sure that PAS won't disturb you (at least politically)".

8. So it is not uncommon to hear from Chinese prostitutes in KL that: "my parents are addicted to gambling and accumulate huge gambling debts so I have prostitute myself to help family alleviate the financial woes"... and it's true sometimes!

9. And if you ask the young Chinese boys who drop-out of school and sell pirated DVD in JB why they want to sell pirated DVDs, they may tell you: "my father is addicted to gambling so I have leave school to fend for myself"!

10. Both the prostitutes and pirated DVD sellers could also be addicted to gambling...

11. Umno appoints "Chinese gambling operators" to use the Chinese to betray the Chinese, and Chinese Malaysians are so proud of Mr. Vivi Tan and Lim Kok Kok (not their real names) for they think these 2 persons are the proud of Chinese community in Malaysia.

12. Umno controls the gambling business behind the curtains, collects the taxes and uses the monies to suppress, opprress and depress Malaysians! It is without doubt that those Chinese who frequent the legal gambling den end up being depressed financially and politically...

13. This bodoh cina political party called Bodoh MCA (BMCA) has the audacity for telling bodoh cina that: "Bodoh MCA will fight till the last drop of its blood to defend the "gambling right" of Chinese in Malaysia", some bodoh Chinese become extremely grateful and even tearful for MCA great sacrifice ...

14. For Chinese are so fearful of "meaningless life without gambling" in Malaysia, Umno-controlled government successfully takes advantage of this phobia and manipulates the Chinese electorate.

15. Chinese Malaysians are said to gamble away approximately RM6-8 billion in a year (imagine how many hospitals and world-class universities can be built with these money)!!

16. Bodoh cina accuses me of "anti-cina" when I propose the closure of Casino, ToTo, 4-D and Horse-Racing and they ask me a lagi bodoh question: "What happen if they go underground"...

17. Umno operates "legal gambling" activities, 2 other organizations known as PDRJ and BMR jointly operate underground 4-D, horse-racing and football "games"...they even have a mobile bank called Bank Ah-Long to grow their business exponentially!

18. Back to point 16, "if bodoh cina are not crazy about gambling, how can they go underground, open-ground, or above-ground"???

19. Back to point 16, I wrote to our former PM Tun Abduallah Ahamad Badawi who is a pious and faithful Muslim to propose to him about using "Lucky Draw" to replace "gambling"...

20. There will be 3 proposed types of "Lucky Draws" to replace "gambling" in Malaysia:

a). Education Lucky Draw:

This Lucky Draw Ticket is RM2 and we will conduct it 3 times a week, winners will get RM2 million to RM1 thousand worth of "Education Prize" and these prizes are transferrable and can only used for education fees payment, all the profits generated from "Education Lucky Draw" will fully be used to assist poor and needy students regardless of race and religion. I asked our former PM to arrange a meeting with Minister of Education to discuss it, however, there was no reply.

b). Healthcare and Family Lucky Draw:

Similar to "Education Lucky Draw", but I was not able to secure a meeting with PM and Health Minister to submit my proposal. (In my letter, I made a promise to former PM that if we were to implement Healthcare & Family Lucky Draw in Malaysia, poor and needy Malaysians won't be deprived of basic shelter and world-class healthcare services).

c). Infrastructure Lucky Draw:

Winners get free highway access cards (RM10,000 -RM50). All the proceeds will be channeled for building infrastructures in Malaysia. Highway toll will be gradually reduced and eventually owned by rakyat...free access is NOT a dream!

21. Those who can arrange a meeting for me with Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak or Nik Aziz, please let me know and I will let them read my proposal...

22. I can guarantee that if our government adopts my proposal, we can curb gambling more effectively, and the more Malaysians who support "Lucky Draw" the more prosperous our country is going to be and the less social issues we are going to have...

Anyway, we have too many bodoh cina+ cina bodoh among us... the existing policy on gambling won't be changed because of bodoh cina!!!

UMNO wants Malays to hate Singapore...

Last year when I wrote an article which mentioned about the Malays living in abject povertly and sordid condition in Batam, Bintan and Karimun, Indonesian islands which are less 60 nautical miles from Singapore--a country which UMNO hates so much ostensibly for the alleged marginalization of Malays in Singapore. I urge UMNO to look at the more serious problems faced by Malays in Indonesia like child prostitution, child labor, deprivation of food and shelter, the lack of basic education opportunities for deserving Indonesian children, etc. I also invited UMNO to study the root cause of the problems faced by Malays in Indonesia instead of hysterically barking like a dog at Singapore for allegedly marginalizing its Malay citizens.
I am going to tell UMNO that there is no need for them to worry about the Malays in Singapore for the following reasons:

1. Education Opportunities: Malays don't have to pay school fees in Singapore, Chinese and Indians have to, no quota imposed on Malays for “excelling” in their studies. If Umno is still not happy, they can always set up mediocre universities to accommodate them, thus, making Singapore government speechless!! Let’s set a general test in English, Science and Mathematics to find out whether Singaporean Malays can outperform Indonesian Malays, Malaysian Malays, Brunei Malays…Let’s make a wager!
The competition for citing Quran is surely won by Indonesian Malays…

2. Employment Opportunities in Government Sector: If candidates of same qualities in education, experience, ect, priorities will be given to minorities. (Since Umno is so crazy about the Malays’ well-being in Singapore, I can appoint a research team to prove that the number of Malays in Singapore government sector is in higher proportion -- (Malays constitute 8% of Singapore total population, but they constitute about 28% in government sector- meaning out of 100 civil servants, 28 are Malays!! Mahathir should inspect Singapore Police Force, Civil Defence, Checkpoints and Immigration Authority and see for himself how Malays are being hired there).

3. Employment Opportunities in private sector: Yes, there could be discrimination in private sectors because the requirement to use Chinese language when dealing with China and due to other reasons they’re more hesitant to hire Malays as good Malays candidates are already taken by government sector.
Solutions: Umno-controlled companies in Singapore like CIMB, Maybank, Sime-Darby, etc, can apply a straightforward approach of “blindly hire” all Malays so as to fulfil the Mahathir’s “Saving Malays in Singapore Mission”.
4. Religion: Singapore has ample number of Mosques for Muslims, however, they can’t fix their Mosques’ speaker outward and turn the volume up to the max; probably the Malays in Singapore have no hearing problem. One issue that concerns me is that the Spore government doesn’t allow government schools (primary and secondary) Muslim students to wear tudung, this is undemocratic! And Karpal Singh of Malaysia’s DAP has long lambasted it as ridiculous and was willing to assist a Singapore Muslim to challenge the tudung-ban at Singapore court. Umno should condemn Singapore for not allowing Muslim students to wear tudung in primary and secondary schools, Umno should also condemn Turkey for not allowing Muslims to wear tudung in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions!! Tertiary institutions in Singapore don’t have such ban….
5. Home ownership: 98% of Malay families in Singapore own a government housing unit. (while many Malays in Indonesia and Malaysia are still homeless)!!

I even emailed Dr. Mahathir and challenged him for a debate on "The alleged marginalization of Malays in Singapore in comparison with the destiny of Malays in the failed state of Indonesia", but Dr. Mahathir was too powerful to respond to a small fly like me…
Umno is likening the fate of Malays in Penang to the “miserable” state of Malays in Singapore and Mahathir accused Singapore or more specifically Lee Kuan Yew of being Anti-Malay, Umno and Mahathir want Singapore to give its Malay citizens the following special privileges like:
a). APs (Approved Permits): all the cars imported to Singapore must be through Malay-controlled companies so they can get rich more quickly;
b).Contracts: all projects in Singapore must be handled by Malay-controlled companies so they can inflate the construction cost and become overnight miilionaire, no legal action can be taken against them if they fail to deliver because they have special privileges;
c). University Quotas: if a Malay fails to enter a university, BY HOOK OR BY CROOK HE/SHE MUST BE ADMITTED TO A UNIVERSITY AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHER MUCH MORE DESERVING STUDENTS AND HE/SHE MUST BE MADE A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE (IN OTHER WORDS, YOU HAVE TO PROMISE HIS ENTRY INTO UNIVERSITY AND GUARANTEE HIS/SHE SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION, FAILURE TO CHURNING OUT THE PRE-FIXED NUMBER OF MALAY UNIVERSITY GRADUATES IS CONSIDERED AS ANTI-MALAY, THEREFORE, LEE KUAN YEW IS VERY ANTI-MALAY);
d). Government Posts: Malays must be made Prime Minister and fill up all the ministerial posts in Singapore government cabinet even if he/she doesn’t have the qualities to manage a city-state where there is ZERO resources!
As mentioned in Point d, Singapore doesn’t have natural resources and therefore the government doesn’t have the luxury of wastage of public fund either; good governance and corruption-free are the 2 main elements for Singapore success. Imagine again running Singapore the “Umno way” and install the policy of “Malay-First, Country Last”, in no time, all the Singaporeans (including Malays) would have to prostitute themselves to feed their families like many pretty Batam girls do (apart from selling their body, I don’t know what else Singapore can offer to sell – u find any resources there??)… the only resource Singapore has is human resource=human capital, using your brains to generate wealth. Umno doesn’t believe in using brains, because UMNO=Ur Mind Not Okay. Understand?!
Thanks God! Malaysia is endowed with abundant natural resources, ideal number of populations and a group of hard working Chinese entrepreneurs to sustain the economy, if not, our girls would long have been maids and prostitutes like our Indonesia counterparts.

Indonesia, we are not your whipping boy

The Javanese have done it again. They have burned our national flag.
Many years ago, I was interviewed in London by BBC Radio 2 as part of a series on the great languages of the world. I was asked about some significant differences between Bahasa Indonesia and our own Bahasa Melayu. I feigned ignorance about the existence of a language called Bahasa Indonesia. I said what Indonesia claimed as its language is really Bahasa Melayu.
They had no choice but to use Bahasa Melayu, the lingua franca of the Malay world to communicate among themselves because they never had a common language to begin with. Malay is undoubtedly the basis of their language. So, if we do what they in Indonesia do so well, we should be burning their flag every day because they have purloined our national language.
An excessive display of nationalistic zeal is generally considered "ugly" in civilised societies. The Indonesians by their actions have reduced themselves into sad figures of ridicule and fun. Their claim, and not for the first time, that we have infringed their "cultural copyrights" is totally absurd. They now have got it into their heads that we should stop singing our national anthem because the tune was Indonesian. What else next? Stop eating satay and wearing kain batik because these are Indonesian?
I remember the time when Indonesia took it upon themselves to rename the Indian Ocean as the Indonesian Ocean, and had the new name put on their official map. The Indians demurred, and Sukarno the regional bully boy realised that it was not such a clever thing to do after all.
Last year we had Wahyu Susilo of Migrant Care, an influential labour organisation telling us "We also want Malaysia to legalise illegal workers and not simply deport them home." Then, again last year we were reminded by Indonesian lawmakers that Malaysia-Indonesia relations were "at their worst since Sukarno's days of Konfrontasi in the sixties."
The reference to Konfrontasi is mischievous in the circumstances. It was a attempt to stampede us into submitting to their will. Indonesians should want to forget that disastrously miscalculated adventure which ended with a bloody nose for their country. On the positive side, it brought to an end the reign of the megalomaniac Sukarno only to be replaced by the rapacious Suharto. Perhaps we had a match in our own country, and we should not gloat over it too much. As a matter of interest, even the normally calm and staid Najib when Deputy Prime Minister was moved to refer to Malaysia as the "Whipping Boy" of the Indonesian media whenever they felt they had a grievance, real or imagined, against us.
I mention all this as a way of reminding ourselves that history provides important lessons for us all. Patterns of political behaviour are often deeply entrenched in the consciousness of a nation, and in the case of our big and unwieldy neighbour, this phenomenon is more marked than is good for them. We want to continue to maintain good neighbour relations with Indonesia, but Indonesia must remember that we are not a client state, and there is a limit to how far we are prepared to go to be nice. We have to think about protecting our national security interests and not putting them at risk. After all, our responsibility is to our own people, first and last.
I recall vividly the burning of our flag in 2002 in Jakarta, that very violent capital of Indonesia. Dr. Mahathir, the then Prime Minister responded in a statesman-like manner to the crude officially orchestrated provocation in which the petulant Speaker of the People's Consultative Council, Amein Rais played a big role. So, in the most recent incident, we were yet again treated to a pattern of behaviour that seems to have been well integrated into the great Indonesian cultural psyche, and that is part of their culture they can keep without any fear of copyright infringement by Malaysia.
It is obviously difficult for us to engage such a volatile country without causing offence and endless misunderstandings, but we must show patience and wisdom and do all we can to keep the relations on an even keel. Indonesia is still a country in transition and has yet to find its own realistic level in international relations. It seems to lack the confidence of a potentially rich and credible nation, and therefore occupies its time in the luxury of blaming others when things do not go their way. I suppose they will now want to take back all their nearly two million nationals, both legal and mostly illegal, working hard, and robbing hard, to keep body and soul together.
We are not your whipping boy. Grow up Indonesia!

You and I are aware of that for the sake of further strengthening Malays numerical superiority in Malaysia, those people in Umno who have the streak of recklessness have began their seemingly unselfish policy of "freely" giving citizenship to largely unskilled/uneducated workers from Indonesia, and if you compare the citizenships granted to Chinese and Indians in 1955., there were only 1 million in total. Nevertheless, since 1955, at least 6 million Indonesian have been granted citizenships, Khir Toyo's father only came to Malaysia in 1940s (FYI, as a peranakan, my ancestors came to Melaka in 1780s, almost 300 years earlier than Mahathir's Indian father).

I personally have no problem with granting citizenship to Indonesians as our country is doing so to provide a better future for their children and our country can become their "Promised Land", however, what I can't tolerate is that even after they've become "imported" bumiputras, they are still supporting "Indonesia team" and some of them even booed Malaysia team in our National Stadium in 1992 Thomas Cup badminton final between Indonesia and Malaysia!

I am writing to Umno to consider "import" Malays from Fiji, South Africa, Christmas Island, the Philippines because these Indonesia immigrants are not grateful and mudah lupa (easily forget)...they've come to this country to be immediately upgraded to "BUMIPUTRA"- (the prince of the soil) whereas in Indonesia they could be the most insignificant "the dust of soil". As "IMPORTED" Bumiputra, they are given the fair opportunity to openly share my 100% local-born pure Malay Bumiputra neighbours' rights and privileges, no wonder my 100% pure Malay Bumiputra neighbours are complaining that they're getting lesser and lesser... and now Umno, being the most cunning, points their dirty middle finger at Chinese Malaysians and accuses them of "stealing" too much so Bumiputra are still getting lesser and lesser, without realizing that Chinese have been the main contributors towards economic stability so much so Umno can attract "imported" bumiputra to come to this country...

Hello Umno, why not ship in another 30 million "imported" bumiputras from Indonesia, and see for yourself who are actually stealing your wealth? And see for yourself 30 years down the road what kind of Malaysia you will get...

Or merge with Indonesia then you can have at least 99% all-Muslims constituencies and finally put all the historical mistakes behind and realize the great dream of "MALAY UNITED KINGDOM"?? And see for yourself how much the Indonesians will respect the Sultans....

If Malaysia will be better off, JUST DO IT!

Allah created Adam and Eve. Remember, Allah created them and therefore, you and I are descendants of Adam and Eve. Adam is the first Prophet in Islamic faith who had the closest relationships with Allah. Adam had personally met Allah and had direct conversation with Allah, after he sinned against Allah by eating the forbidden fruit, he repented and Allah forgave him. Adam and his wife Eve had children on earth, and so far their great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandchildren have subdued the whole earth.

Now, the fact of the matter and the matter of the fact is that Allah allows different skin colors, languages to be developed among Adam's descendants (remember this is a fact that Allah allows it to happen or Allah wants it to happen). Allah is so great to the extent that He has granted Adam's descendants the freedom and liberty to either believe in Him or other idols. So we have people who are whole-hearted believers of Allah, and they are known as true-Muslims; and we have people who claim they are Muslims but they make MONEY & SEX their idols, they are known as fake Muslims. And most unfortunately, the majority of the descendants of Adam don't have the right opportunity to know and accept Allah. Why "no right opportunity" for them to know and accept Allah?? You need me to tell you why?! Because there are too many fake Muslims. Allah hates Fake Muslims more than those who don't have the right opportunity to know and accept Him.

How can we live a paradox that we believe in Almighty Allah and yet we are weak intellectually, spiritually, economically, etc?? No, Quran says it very clearly-those who heart is with Allah shall have wisdom and peace. Amin.

SO TRUE MUSLIMS are peace-loving, spirtually-strong and have wisdom. Fake Muslims are violent, arrogant, spiritually-weak and are stupid. Remember, Fake Muslims are spiritually-weak so...
1. they can't use internet (for they will surf porn websites)
2. they can't enter convenient stores like 7-11 (for they will be trembling at the sight of beers)
3. they can't see pretty and sexywomen (for erection and uncontrollable ejaculation are immediate).
4. they can't attend "Michael Learn to Rock" concert (for their minds will be corrupted by a concert).
5. they can't allow pubs or discoteques (for they can't overcome the temptation to go in and see pretty girls and consume liquor).
6. they can't allow other religious books to be printed in certain language (for if they read it, their mind will get spining).
7. they can't allow casino (for they will be tempted to gambling).

Allah is the creator of whole universe, He is Almighty and those who believe in Him is a conqueror, isn't it what Quran has taught us??

Allah purposely planted a tree in paradise and admonised Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree, why? Allah wanted them to learn how to conquer the temptation. Even though they failed but they repented from this mistake (sin), Allah still accepted and forgave them.

So Allah is Omnipotent and Omnipresent, He knows you will fall throughout your spiritual journey, but Allah is most compassionate and merciful, He is ready to forgive and forget. TRUE MUSLIMS may fall but they have a heart of repentance. Anwar Ibrahim is one of them. True Muslims are willing to admit mistakes and courageous to take up responsibility, Tengku Razaleigh is one of the good examples.

Those who insist on harsh punishment being meted on a girl who drank liqour in the state of Pahang have failed to understand the heart of Allah. This girl has apologized, repented and suffered from the pain of humiliation and embarassment, what else would you want to inflict on her? My fasting experience with fellow Muslim friends in this month of Ramadan has given me a better "heart of compassion".

In this Holy month of Ramadan, I can’t help but to delve into the true meaning of fasting and to gain an insight into Allah’s instruction for His people to attain piety. Islam as a great faith in the world has greatly impacted the lives of billions. As a non-Muslim in Malaysia who has voluntarily chosen to fast with Muslims in Ramadan, I have come to an understanding that the effect of physical starvation will never outweigh spiritual strength/renewal obtained through fasting. Naturally or supernaturally, physical starvation or hunger will create a heart of compassion in us and make us empathise with the sufferings of others. Ramadan is also a month for all the Muslims to do soul-searching and attain higher spiritual level so as to having a sound mind to distinguish right from wrong – also to receive revelation from Allah.

Let’s look at what Quran says about fasting month of Ramadan:
"Ramadan is the (month) in which Qur'an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, and a clear guidance and judgement (so that mankind will distinguish right from wrong). Whoever among you witnesses the month of Ramadan should fast through it. But whoever is sick or on a journey, the prescribed period (missed should be made up) by days later. Allah wants ease for you and He does not want to put you into difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful" Q(2:185).
"O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for people before you so that you will (learn how to attain) piety" (Q2:183)

Since Ramadan is the (month) in which Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind, I have chosen to read the Quran in this Ramadan as part of my spiritual odyssey to seek the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Mighty Creator of the whole universe, to acquire basic understanding of Islam and to examine whether the non-Muslim world has wrongly accused Islamic faith and Muslims.As a Malaysian of 33 years old, I am so ashamed to admit that I just learned the meaning of this word “Islam”, in fact Islam is derived from the Arabic root "Salema": peace, purity, submission and obedience. In the religious sense, Islam means submission to the will of Allah and the peace of Allah.
Part of my reading of Quran has led me to the knowledge of Allah’s creation of the whole universe. I personally feel that it takes more faith to believe in the Theory of Evolution or Darwinism as Nothing is Nothing, how can Nothing becomes Something? Everything must have a beginning, and with every beginning there comes a “beginner”. So I acknowledge it is Allah who created the whole universe or Allah could have ignited the big bang to set the whole universe in order and bring forth life. So as a non-Muslim, I share a common point with Muslims that it is Allah who created the universe.
What is more intriguing to me is that Allah is a Mighty Creator who gives mankind the freedom to choose what they want to do; in modern terms, it is a respect of human rights. Allah created Adam and Eve as the first couple of Homo sapiens, and Adam went on to become the first Prophet of Islam. So let’s follow the story about what happened to this wonderful couple.
According to Quran, Allah commanded Adam to dwell in Paradise: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimeen (wrong doers).(2:35)Adam and eve were admitted to Paradise and there they lived the dream of all human beings. Allah permitted them to approach and enjoy everything except one tree that might have been the Tree of Pain or the Tree of Knowledge, some scholars call it Evil Tree. Allah said to Adam, "But come not near this tree or you both will be of the wrong doers." (2:35)
Adam was however a human being. Iblis (satan/devil) summoned all the envy within him and took advantage of Adam's humanity to exploit him. He started to whisper to him day after day, coaxing him: "Shall I guide you to the Tree of Immortality and the Eternal Kingdom?" He said to them: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals." He (Satan) swore by Allah to them both saying: "Verily I am one of the sincere well wishers for you both." (7:20-21)Adam and Eve understood that they were forbidden by Allah to eat the fruit of that tree. But why Allah wanted to plant a tree in the Paradise?1). Since Allah is Omniscient, Allah could have known beforehand that Adam and Eve would succumb to temption and therefore the removal of this evil tree must be made necessary, lest Adam and Eve fall into temptation,2. Since Allah is Omnipresent, when Adam and Eve were about to approach the tree, Allah could appear in front of them and cautioned them against the serious consequences or Allah could stop the devil from talking to them, how could Allah leave them in the lurch?
Why Allah allowed this mishap to happen to Adam and Eve, whom Allah had created to dwell in the Paradise? And why satan could enter or appear in Paradise?The obvious answers to the questions above is “FREE WILL”- that Allah allowed the existence of this evil tree in Paradise so Adam and Eve could learn how to conquer temptation and they could be completely at ease in the face of temptation as they had the Peace of Allah and the Peace with Allah. Allah wanted them to be cheerful and happy in the Paradise and the Peace of Allah would empower them to sail through the temptation. Allah won’t want Adam and Eve to shout and yell and hold placards protesting against the evil tree. The presence of satan in Paradise is truly symbolic of the possible blemishes/imperfection in a perfect world.Allah is Omnipotent and the Creator of the whole universe, Allah could have made Adam and Eve like a robot without freedom to choose what they want to do, and by a click from Allah, Adam and Eve could be completely destroyed. But Allah breathed a breath of freedom into Adam’s life, a freedom that allowed Adam to even defy the command of Allah!The end:Adam and Eve left Paradise and descended upon the earth. Adam was sad and Eve was crying. Allah accepted their repentance because it was sincere and Allah told them that the earth would be their realm and origin where they would live and die and whence they would come on the Day of Judgment.

As I meditated on these Quranic verses, I can’t help but come to a deeper respect and appreciation for Allah’s magnanimity, loving-kindness and patience towards mankind, I couldn’t imagine how hard Adam and Eve had hurt Allah, but I know Allah is Merciful! Allah greatness is reflected through His meekness, gentleness, mercifulness, acceptance and forgiveness.Dear Muslim friends, from Adam and Eve incident we can figure out that “innocence is not a virtue, but virtue is innocence tested”; only if Adam and Eve had overcome the temptation, could they be really counted as innocent. Allah wants His people to overcome temptation and be at peace with Him. Though Adam and Eve had failed to heed His command, Allah accepted their sincere repentance. Allah wants us to get up from where we’ve fallen down and move on with our life!If Allah has allowed the Evil Tree and satan to appear in Paradise, who are we to close down discotheque and casino, ban pageant contest, ban bikini, ban alcohol, ban concert, etc in Malaysia? How can we justify a rapist sexual aggression against a scantily dressed girl? Can we lock up all the Muslim children in a remote village without internet access, TV and DVD player so when they grow up they won’t see the evil, hear the evil and talk the evil? No, we can never do that to our children! Living in seclusion is not the way Allah had prepared for Adam and Eve.Allah never instructed Adam and Eve to burn down or bomb the Evil Tree as some religious bigots had done in our neighbouring countries. Instead, Allah said to them, “Enjoy your life here in Paradise and keep a distance from the evil tree and don’t eat the fruits.” After they failed to follow the command of Allah, Allah took the initiative to look for them and the sincere repentance of Adam and Eve moved the heart of Allah –The real problem with our society today is not that our corrupt Muslim politicians have eaten the forbidden fruits, but it is that they don’t have a heart of repentance at all after eating the forbidden fruits, and the forbidden fruits seem to taste sweeter and sweeter to them, it is a case of never “enough”.
Allah wants Muslims to be spiritual, NOT religious. Allah doesn’t want His people to over-emphasize on His Divinity and yet completely neglect His Humanity.
Allah wants Muslims to acknowledge the fact that He allows the world to become what it is today, to respect His authority that He has created different races with different cultures and different languages, if the Almighty Allah won’t want you to live in a multiracial environment, He would have created a world of the Muslims, by the Muslims and for the Muslims. Allah is Omnipotent, by one click He can easily move all the non-Muslims to the moon and achieve the goal of complete segregation between Muslims and non-Muslims, but Allah is Merciful and He has His ultimate purpose which both Muslims and non-Muslims may not be able to comprehend for the time being.Since Allah has created mankind with different colors like black, yellow, white, orange, beige, etc, you and I have to accept it with a cheerful heart; racism has no room in our society as Islam forbids racism!
Ramadan is a significant month for all Muslims around the world, may all Muslims, including Jihadists, experience the Mercy of Allah in this festive season. Muslims will never “know” Allah without really “experiencing” the mercifulness of Allah.
May the physical fasting bring for more spiritual hunger for our Muslim politicians to fight for social injustices and the oppressed.
May the sincere repentance of Adam and Eve be seen in all of our Muslim politicians, who have secretly eaten the forbidden fruits.
May all the Muslims in Malaysia open up their hearts to embrace multiculturalism and diversity as Allah has permitted it to happen in Malaysia.
May all the Muslims in Malaysia be able to distinguish right from wrong in this fasting month of Ramadan to discard all the bad leaders so righteousness and justice can be re-installed in our country.
May Islam-“peace and purity” saturates into every corner of our society.
May Allah protect our country, bless our Sultans, King and all Muslim politicians!

My cousin Lim Tee Hong Passed Away, Aged 29

On 12 Jan 10:12pm, I received a call informing me that my cousin has passed away in a road accident near Ipoh.

I couldn't breathe for several seconds as I was emotionally overwhelmed by his sudden passing away, this cousin of mine told me how he wished to have the opportunity to leave his family behind and completely forgot his unhappy unbringing, he said to me that "peace" was what he was pursuing; Tee Hong was from a very broken family where his father and mother would quarrel all day long and since young I ever saw him defending his mother when his parents got physical, he told me he never experienced "quietness" in his entire life...

I am sad because he is the only relative I have had with whom I could genuinely share my feelings, he was real to me so was I to him. Years ago, he ever asked me a question about eternity, and coincidentally, a pastor from America shared a similar topic at my church recently. I find it thought provoking and so I am writting this article at 4:13am on 13 Jan, to stave off insomnia resulting from the loss of a close friend and relative...

Those who know me well will know that I won't share my feelings easily in front of people, and I won't write an article to inform you of my current emotions or sadness, however, his sudden death prompted me to deeply look into this topic of "eternity" which is the eventuality you and I, regardless of language, race or religion, will have to face one day.

Tee: you believe in eternity or eternal life?

Frankly, I don't know whether he is in heaven or in hell now, he attended church quite a couple of times when he was a young boy and since then he "explored" all kinds of gods, he even explored Islamic faith with his Muslim friends, but he accepted none as he thought life was meaningless...I wish I could see him in heaven, if I happen to be there myself!

Jesus, The Muslim...

The word Islam means "submission", or the total surrender of oneself to God (Arabic:Allāh).[1] An adherent of Islam is known as a Muslim, meaning "one who submits to Allah".

Many people celebrated Christmas last week and as a multi-racial, multi-religious country, Malaysia is one of the few countries in Asia where Christmas day is made a public holiday. Since Christmas is about the birthday of Jesus, I shall write something about Jesus. I am not interested to get into religious debate, neither am I looking for trouble to be charged with inciting religious hatred. What I am writing is about the submission of Jesus unto Allah and how Muslims should learn from him and follow him in order to understand the will of Allah.

In Quran Surah [3] Al Imran Section 6: 55 "Jesus Cleared of False Charges"
"Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you (of the falsehoods) of those who blasheme; I will make those who follow you superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: then shall you all return unto Me, and I will judge between you the matters wherein you dispute".

From the Quranic verse mentioned above, Allah made a promise in Quran that those who follow Jesus will be made "SUPERIOR" to those who reject faith, therefore, true Muslims who follow Jesus and submit wholeheartedly to the will of Allah WON'T suffer from inferiority complex, they won't have a persistent sense of inadequacy or a tendency to self-diminishment, they feel secure and full of confidence and won't be easily provoked, they are hard working and won't be constantly yelling out in pain that they are weak -economically, intellectually, emotionally, etc, they do not need "crutches" as Allah will strengthen them as they surrender to Him completely. Only those who genuinely and totally surrender to Allah can be called a Muslim, and the Quran also tells us that those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward. It is not difficult to find out whether a person is a believer or not, believers are righteous who won't be involved in money politics or corruption. Believers are unfazed of competition, because of their superiority, they won't cry out for "protection" to enter university, even if they fail to make it, they will work harder to try it out again and again to prove their worth and their tenacity is superior!

Those who totally surrender to Allah (Muslims) are great people, but how many genuine ones we have in Malaysia?

Yes, Allah will make those who follow Jesus superior and his disciples are Muslims (those who totally surrender to Allah)...

The Industrial Revolution took place in Europe in the early 18th century, these European industrialists invented new machines and methods which brought about higher level of efficiency and productivity, as a result, they needed to find more raw materials for their production and new markets for their products, it was one of the few reasons that prompted the British to cross over the 4 Oceans and 5 Continents to start their global exploitation and colonial rule, Malaya, a land full natural resources,would inevitably become an attraction to the British. Some said the British came to rape and sodomise our land, but let's hear the other side of the story....

When the British came to "our" land, they first sought our Sultans approval and consent to begin their "management" and hence, they were given the legitimate power by the Sultans to "run" our land, they brought with them excellent administrative, judicial and educational system, and "our" land first entered a brand new phase of proper and systematic development, certain quarters like the Indian-Malay Mahathir who wrongly accused our Sultans of giving in to the British, Mahathir was wrong to say so, he didn't understand the sacrifices our Sultans had made for sake of achieving unity, peace and development for "our" land, Mahathir's father was an Indian immigrant, without the British bringing his father in to "our" land, this fella would still be languishing in India selling Kacang Puteh!! this fella has the audacity to question our beloved Sultans?? Mahathir, please don't challenge "Ketuanan Melayu" or else we send you back to your motherland or fatherland!...

The British were just the temporary "General Manager" to manage and oversee the development of "our" land, they developed "our" country and earned from us, they brought the nine Sultans together and had helped unify the whole of Malaya, without them, we could have a totally different geopolitical landscape today, we may have The Kingdom of Selangor, Johor, Pahang, Kelantan etc, in addition to "Ketuan Melayu", we may have "Ketuanan Bugis", "Ketuanan Minangkabau", "Ketuanan Java", etc; and "our" land could be much more backward without their planning and development experience! Without their judicial, educational and administrative system, we would have many "Kangaroo Courts" around "our" land where Penghulu or Ketua Kampong would be the Majistrates and Bomoh would be our teachers and doctors. Thanks to the unselfish, bold and wise decision of our Sultans to allow them to temporarily manage "our" land, otherwise we wouldn't have "Ketuanan Melayu" today and i might need a Passport to travel to Kedah, Selangor or Pahang. We must always remember the sacrifices our Sultans had made for us to have prosperity, peace and unity in "our" land!
The British respected the Sultans and therefore the Sultans of respective States were willing to cooperate with them, they never questioned our Sultans' immunity and special rights and position, but when Malaysia was under the rule of indian-Malay Mahathir, he amended the constitution to empower himself to challenge the special position of our Sultans. He created a new form of "Ketuanan Melayu" to challenge "Ketuanan Melayu"!

The British urgently needed many workers to rapidly develop and expand our economies, they started "import" workers from india and China, this was how Mahathir father and many other foreigners came to our land and how things started to get more complicated racially, politically, economically and culturally.

Understanding "Ketuanan Melayu" - Part 1

We are the prince of the soil (Bumiputra) and have been the owner of this land since the beginning of the world when Allah first created the whole Universe! Our ancestors were NOT immigrants because Adam and Eve were created in Kuala Lumpur or "maybe" in Melaka or somewhere around Putrajaya. Unlike the pathetic condition we are currently in, we used to own everything in "our" land -100% equity by us and we established a great Melaka Empire, which was said to have unified and ruled the whole of present-day Malay Peninsula, in fact, Malaysia should be called The Great Kingdom of Melaka to reflect the past glory of our forefathers. Please take note of that, Parameswara, the founding father of Melaka Empire was born in Melaka, he was NOT an immigrant, you will be charged under ISA if you say he was an immigrant for you would incite racial hatred and challenge "Ketuanan Melayu"!!!
Because of our greatness, Indians, Chinese, Bugis, Minangkabau began to come to "our" land to seek employment and business opportunities, they admired and respected us and very much wanted to become "us", they didn't request us to set up Chinese, Indian or Bugis schools, and they willingly and cheerfully adopted our culture and way of life, some of them even went to the extent to completely "become" us, therefore, we didn't have any racial issue because the immigrants or squatters managed to successfully assimilate into our society, so we had Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat, and their auntie is Hang Li Poh!
Though we didn't have racial issue, the strife within the palace had troubled us enough and ,ironically, sometimes we had problems with Bugis and orang Aceh, they waged war against us before...
Things started to change after the Westerners came to our land to colonise us, but the coming of Ang Moh had "accidentally" empowered us, the Melayu, to "extinguish" bugis,Javanese,Boyanese,Achinese,Minangkabau in our land, we have made them become one Melayu race, they had to give up their past to become us in order to be "tuan" in our land! and that was the begining of "Ketuanan Melayu"....
The Portugese, Dutch, British and Japanese took turn to rape and sodomise our land, to quicken their sodomisation, they brought in "cheapest" labors from India and China because we were reluctant to be part of this sodomisation of our own land! Orang Cina and Indians who left their homeland at that time were 3rd class citizens in their respective countries, these jobless and landless peasants could possibly be dying of starvation if they didn't travel out of their countries and come to "our" land. We even heard of their misery that they ate shit and drank urine while on their sea voyage to "our" land. They must be grateful and bow down to us for coming to their rescue! Without us accepting them, they would have died in their motherland or got drowned in South China Sea or Indian Ocean! Unless they chose to "become" us, they were supposed to be temporary workers in our land, they were just "pendatang" or "penumpang"!
The Ang Moh knew that if they wanted to continue their sodomisation, they had to segregate cina, india dan melayu, and should it be necessary, they would sow the seed of mistrust among different races...

Please Install More Loudspeakers so Muslims in Malaysia Will Daily Be Reminded to Seek Allah & Follow the Teaching of Quran

KUALA LUMPUR: The Cheras Umno division has started a fund to assist Utusan Malaysia in defending itself against a RM30mil defamation lawsuit filed by Seputeh MP Teresa Kok.
Kicking off the fund with a RM20,000 contribution, division head Datuk Syed Ali Al Habshee said the Tabung Azan would also be used to assist mosques and suraus that needed money to buy loudspeakers for the purpose of the azan (call to prayer).

As Islam is Malaysia official religion, we must support the suggestion to install more loudspeakers for the purpose of the Azan. The louder, the better! Please install one in Najib's house, Mahathir's house, Syed Hamid's house, etc...

It is important for Malaysia to cherish and implement the teaching of Quran so our country will be the first Muslim/Islamic country in the world to be corruption and crime-free!

The installation of big loudspeakers will allow all Muslims in Malaysia to be reminded of their daily duties to offer prayers to Allah and for reflection upon the true Muslim life.

As a non-Muslim, I strongly support it for I deeply believe that the more loudspeakers we have in the Suraus and Mosques, the more righteous and holier Muslims we are going to see in Malaysia- as the loudspeakers in every Suraus and Mosques will remind Muslims of the need to seek Allah through prayers and it will also serve as a reminder to lead a godly Muslim life and to resist temptation and sins.

Therefore, the purpose of the Azan is important and significant in Malaysia for:

1. Allah to remind politicians that if they get involved in money politics, they will go to HELL.

2. Allah to remind our government if they detain innocent people, they will go to HELL.

3. Allah to remind our Ministers, Politicians and Civil Servants that if they commit adultery, they will go to HELL.

4. Allah to remind our Ministers, Politicians and Civil Servants that if they are involved in corruption, they will go to HELL.

5. Allah to remind everybody that He is against racism and all racists go to HELL.

6. Allah to remind everybody that rapists, robbers, looters, plunderers, arsonists, murderers, molesters, etc all go to HELL.

Remember to pray, confesss and repent, lest you suffer the fiery fire in the HELL...

I love loudspeakers so we can have "louder" reminder! - for a better Malaysia which is free from racism, crime, corruption and injustice!

Please remember to install a loudspeaker in Mahathir, Najib and Syed Hamid house...

How Mahathir Had Insulted My Malay and Muslim Friends in 1998

At the peak of Indonesia political crisis in May 1998, hundred if not thousand of Indonesian ethnic Chinese women were raped and sexually assaulted, shophouses owned by Chinese were burnt and looted, and it was reported that more than 250 ethnic Chinese were beaten or burnt to death when they refused to let the angry mob enter their house.
This act of atrocities against humanity is against the teaching of Quran and those who looted,raped and killed in 1998 are doomed to enter hell...yes, they are doomed to enter fiery hell!

Then we had a Prime Minister called Mahathir in 1998 who, without any sense of guilt and sympathy, told Malaysians that if we didn't have NEP what'd happened in Indonesia was bound to happen in Malaysia. Instead of condemning the inhumane acts, Mahathir seemed to be in agreement with the "natural" reaction of "being poor"--I am poor so it is justifiable for me to steal, rob, loot, kill, rape and plunder...
What Dr.Mahathir wanted to do in 1998 was to instil a message of fear into the mind of Chinese, let's interprete what Mahathir was trying to convey:
1. If Chinese were very much richer than Malays, Malays would loot, rob, kill and rape Chinese.
(Mahathir: what happened in Indonesia would happen in Malaysia)
2. Though Quran admonishes and cautions against killing, raping, looting and robbing; Malays, who profess to be Muslims, would go against the teaching of Quran if they were very much poorer than Chinese.
(Mahathir: wealth disparity in Indonesia was the cause of the anti-Chinese riot).
3. The Malaysian government spending and emphasis on Islamic education and building more Suraus/Mosques in Malaysia to cultivate and nurture Muslims to follow the teaching of Allah and be a good citizen would be a completely futile effort if Malays were very much poorer than Chinese.
(Mahathir: what'd happened in Indonesia would happen in Malaysia, which means Muslims in our country would conveniently forget the teaching of Allah and Chinese would have to suffer orgies of loot, plunder and arson by Malay Muslims).

Mahathir's conclusion: If Malays were very much poorer than Chinese, they would go against the teaching of Allah (robbing, looting, killing, etc) . If Chinese were very much poorer than Malays, then they would be safe!
(Mahathir: what'd happened in Indonesia would happen in Malaysia).

So what Mahathir meant in 1998: If Malays were richer than Chinese, they would be very good Muslims and they won't hurt Chinese!

Therefore, in 1998 Mahathir equated Muslims' faithfulness towards Allah with how much money they had!

A true and faithful Muslim will conquer the test of materialism and withstand the emotions of rage and jealousy. In 1998 Mahathir believed we might have too many fake Muslims in Malaysia...

If $$ can easily turn a Muslim against Allah, he/she is a hypocrite and fake Muslim!
Umno election is coming soon, you can tell who is true Muslim and who is fake!

If $$ is the determining factor of Muslims' faithfulness toward Allah, then Mahathir was insulting Muslims in May 1998 because what Mahathir meant was that $$ was greater than Allah, $$ could direct Muslims to kill, rape, loot, rob, plunder!!! No, that's not true! Real Muslims place greater emphasis on the love and mercy of Allah, real Muslims deeply believe in the provision of Allah that they won't have to resort to steal and kill for a living, and real Muslims won't rape helpless young girls and women!

We have many real Muslims in Malaysia! But unfortunately, the fake one is in control!

*Mahathir is a firm believer in social assimilation so as to achieve social cohesiveness and national unity, may I ask Mahathir that if all Chinese Indonesians were to become Muslims, will everything be all right for them by then? Young Chinese Indonesians speak only Bahasa Indonesia and have Indonesian name to accentuate their localization, one more step for them to become "full" Indonesian--by becoming a Muslim??? Can We Call For Global Muslim Condemnation & Protest Against Taliban Brutal Killing of A Policewoman in Afghanistan?

I dare say without fear that less than ONE prominent international Muslim organization or Muslims in other parts of the world would step out to openly condemn and protest against Taliban brutal killing of a courageous policewoman in Afghanistan. I would join if there is one in Malaysia!

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Sept 28, 2008 (AFP) - - Taliban gunmen shot dead the most high-profile female police officer in Afghanistan and wounded her teenaged son as she left home to go to work Sunday, officials and the militia said.

Attackers waiting outside the home of Malalai Kakar, head of the city of Kandahar's department of crimes against women, opened fire on her car as she left, Kandahar government spokesman Zalmay Ayoobi told AFP.
"Today between 7 am and 8 am when she was (in her car) outside her house and going to her job, some gunmen attacked," Ayoobi said.
"Malalai Kakar died in front of her house. Her son was wounded."
A doctor in the city's main hospital said Kakar, in her late 40s, had been shot in the head.
"She died on the spot and her son was badly injured and is in a coma," he said on condition of anonymity.
Her son, aged 15, had been driving Kakar to work, police said. The boy later came out of the coma but was in a serious condition.
A spokesman for the extremist Taliban movement, which targets government officials as part of a growing deadly insurgency, said that the assassins were from his group.
"We killed Malalai Kakar," spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi told AFP. "She was our target, and we successfully eliminated our target."
President Hamid Karzai condemned the attack, saying in a statement that it was an "act of cowardice" by the "enemies of the peace and welfare and reconstruction of Afghanistan."
The European Mission branch in Afghanistan said Kakar had been an "example" in her country and her murder was "particularly abhorrent."
The interior ministry praised her as a "brave hero and loyal to her profession."
Kakar, a mother of six, was regularly profiled in international media and was known for her courage in one of Afghanistan's most conservative provinces.
A captain in the police force and the most senior policewoman in Kandahar, she headed a team of about 10 women police officers and had reportedly received numerous death threats.
Kandahar is the birthplace of the extremist Taliban, who are mounting a growing insurgency that targets government officials.
During their 1996-2001 hold on power, the Taliban stopped women from working outside the home and even leaving home without a male relative and an all-covering burqa.
Kakar was the first woman to enrol in the Kandahar police force after the 2001 ouster of the Taliban and had been involved in investigating crimes against women and children, and conducting house searches.
The head of Kandahar province's women's affairs department was killed in a similar way two years ago.
And in June gunmen shot dead a female police officer in the western province of Herat in what was believed to be the first assassination of a female police officer in the war-torn country.
Bibi Hoor, 26, was on her way home when two armed men on motorbikes opened fire, killing her instantly. It was not clear who killed her or why.
Afghanistan's police force was destroyed by the time the Taliban were removed and is being rebuilt with international assistance. It numbers about 80,000 people, including a few hundred women.
About 750 policemen have been killed in the past six months, mostly in insurgency-linked violence sweeping the country.

1. In Feb 1989:

--A mob of thousands of enraged Muslims tried to enter and destroy the American cultural center in Islamabad, Pakistan, because Mr. Rushdie's book was being published in the United States. The attack left five people dead and more than 100 people wounded; three people died in similar disturbances in India.

--Hundred of thousand of protesters gathered together in Tehran Iran chanting slogan to send Rushdie to hell!

--Iranian Spiritual leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini urged all Muslims to kill the author, he said: "'The author of the book is against Islam, the Prophet and the Koran, and all those involved in its publication who were aware of its content, are sentenced to death, if someone knows them but is unable to kill them, he should hand them over to the people for punishment.''

--Muslims in Syria, Jordan and other Middle-east countries Muslims who don't understand English and have not read the book also jumped into the bandwagon to protest against the book.

Let's examine the book and the author:

Mr. Rushdie was quoted as saying. ''It is not true this book is a blasphemy against Islam. I doubt very much Khomeini or anyone else in Iran has read the book or anything more than selected extracts taken out of context.''

Mr. Rushdie, was born into a Kashmiri Muslim family in Bombay, he authored a book titled "The Satanic Verses", which begins with a plane crash over the English Channel in which two men survive to be ''born again,'' one with a halo, the other with slowly developing horns and hoofs. It is not clear, despite their appearance, which of them is good and which is evil. They become involved with characters named Alleluia Cone and Mahound, the latter a businessman turned prophet who lives in the imaginary city of Jahilla. Because of Khomeini international "promotion" of destroying the author and the book, I borrowed this book from a friend of mine nearly 14 years ago and read it twice, my conclusion is that the book could be "deemed" offensive to Islam, but I couldn't find any parts of the book "insulting" Islam. Rushdie is a Muslim who used to work for a time in television in Pakistan after graduating from Cambridge University in 1968.

2. In Feb 2006:

Since the publication of Prophet Mohamed cartoon, Denmark have become the focus of the ire of the Muslim world. Muslim demonstrators around the world have burned Danish flags, Saudi Arabia and Libya have withdrawn their ambassadors to Denmark, and Danish goods are being boycotted across the Middle East. About 28 Muslims died while "violently" protesting against the danish cartoon.

Danish journalist Karsten Kjaer has made a documentary where he travels around the Middle East, interviewing all the muftis and imams who were behind the protests and riots. It turns out - surprise - that none of them had ever seen the cartoon.

I personally saw the cartoon and the man resembles an Indian Shiks.

I am totally against any publication of books, cartoons or any reading materials which can potentially be deemed as insulting Muslims or Islamic faith! We must ban it because it will surely induce riots and violent protests.

Okay, you may argue that:
-Islam is against these laws.
-These laws are un-Islamic.
-Islam forbids injustice, inequality, discrimination, racism, persecution, transgressions and corruption.
-Islam makes it mandatory for all Muslims to oppose injustice, inequality, discrimination, racism, persecution, transgressions and corruption.
-God Himself has decreed that all Muslims must oppose injustice, inequality, discrimination, racism, persecution, transgressions and corruption.

(The Malays) are NOT in the least concerned with what God said or what God has decreed in the Quran.The 51% of the Malays who voted for Umno and the more than three million Malays who are members of Umno, are ONLY concerned that Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has proposed that 10% of places in UITM be given to the Chinese and Indians.(Khalid's proposal) is blasphemy as far as the Malays are concerned. Khalid can articulate to the best of his ability that government aid must be based on eligibility and merit and not based on the colour of one’s skin.Hey, this is NOT what the New Economic Policy is all about! The NEP is a race-based policy and not about helping the poor, oppressed and downtrodden.Sheesh, where has Khalid been all this while? And he claims to have come from the corporate world. You could have fooled me.Try insulting Islam -- even if they only perceive with their very narrow minds that are insulting Islam -- and see what happens. Malays and the Muslim Label
-Malays go berserk when you talk about conversions either into or out of Islam.
-Malays are only concerned about getting as many kafirs as possible to convert to Islam while ensuring that no one tries to leave Islam.
-They don’t really care what you believe in or what you do after you become a Muslim.
-What is important is that you wear this label that identifies you as a Muslim.
-Never mind if it is just a label worn externally. Never mind that beneath this label, in your heart, you don’t care a damn about Islam. What is in your HEART is NOT crucial. That label that you wear EXTERNALLY is.

Prophet Muhammad Subjected to similar "Sedition Act"
(About)1,400 or so years ago, Prophet Muhammad too was subjected to the Sedition Act, even though, then, it was not yet called the Sedition Act -- although the spirit of what they tried to do to Prophet Muhammad remains the same.
The powers-that-be tried to silence Prophet Muhammad in an attempt to get him to stop speaking out against the government and against the official religion of Mekah at that time.
They intimidated Prophet Muhammad with insults, abuse and ridicule -- and finally, when they failed to silence him, they tried to bribe him with offers of power and money.
When everything they tried to do to stop Prophet Muhammad from talking failed, they plotted to kill him.
God commanded Prophet Muhammad to leave Mekah and to seek refuge in Medina where he would be free to speak and there would be no Sedition Act to prevent him from speaking.
Prophet Muhammad’s migration from Mekah is called the Hijrah and is very significant in Islam. The migration of Prophet Muhammad to escape the Sedition Act is so important that the first day of Hijrah is the first day of the Islamic calendar -- also called the Hijrah Calendar.

The True Muslims at the Bar Council's Sedition Forum But hardly any Malays who claim that they are true Muslims were at the Bar Council’s forum on Monday to discuss the Sedition Act because there was no screaming and wailing and acting as if one was possessed by the devil.Most of the people who were there were kafirs who demonstrated MORE Islamic qualities than Muslims themselves. And this is because even though these kafirs do not demonstrate the form of Islam, they do, however, possess the spirit of Islam and they do uphold the values of Islam.The true Muslims that Monday at the Bar Council forum were, unfortunately, the kafirs.But they did NOT scream and wail and act like they were possessed by the devil. I know the article I am going to write is highly sensitive and it is unavoidable that certain quarters will accuse me of demeaning the Islamic faith, but I am determined to let my conscience guide me as I use every single word to tell the truth and I believe only the truth will set me and my Muslim friends free.

I came across many blogs and websites condemning Israel and the Jews, this unified global Muslim movement against Zionism is not just a recent phenomenon, it started nearly 60 years ago, the fate of Palestinians has not changed much and we have witnessed the clashes between terrorists group Hamas and Palestinian Authority over the past few years. The Jews and Palestinians problem should be a political issue, unfortunately, religion has conveniently been dragged into into the Israel-Palestine conflict, and nearly all Muslims around the world have been told or taught to support the Palestinian struggle, the demonization of Jews has seemed to become an integral part of Muslim global propaganda.

When we talk about the plight of Palestinians, how many Muslims have ever spared a thought for the hundred of thousand Shiite Muslims who were brutally killed in Iraq during the rule of Saddam Hussein? How many Muslims ever voice out against the corrupt and tyrannical Muslim regimes in Africa, Middle-east and Asia which have adversely brought their countries and people into destruction? How many Muslims in the world are ready to fight for justice and well-being of the Muslims in Nigeria, Sudan, Iran,Iraq,Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mali and many other Muslim countries where Muslim children are deprived of food, shelter and education. The past Taleban regime in Afghanistan could spend a huge amount of money for weaponry when the children in the country were seriously suffering from starvation and malnutrition. As I mentioned in my other article, my Iranian friend father was forced to fight the Iran-Iraq war and he got killed, his mother had to single-handedly brought him and his brother up and they waited for 7 years to come to Canada as refugees,their family faced systematic intimidation while waiting to leave Iran. Or we just look at our neighbouring country Indonesia, I couldn't believe until I saw it with my own eyes that many children in Indonesia are suffering from malnutrition and many are forced to drop out of primary school because of family financial constraint! Muslims around the world just keep mum on the corruption and atrocities by Muslim regimes in Africa, Middle-east and Asia. But they can easily be provoked by something seemingly innocuous!

As many Jihadists have claimed, the US and Jews, etc are root-cause of the Muslim problems, they don't want to recognize the fact that corruption and poor management of the country are the real problem causing the suffering of Muslims. So it is not uncommon that Muslims around the world chanting anti-US, anti-Israel, anti-Jews slogans on street, but how often have we seen global Muslim protest against forced child labor, human rights abuses, corruption and crime against humanity? When Saddam Hussein launched his "ethnic-cleansing" campaign against the Muslim Kurds in northern Iraq, how many Muslims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and other Muslim countries went on street to burn Saddam Hussein effigy? There was a total 28 Muslims died in various Muslim countries--Pakistan, Nigeria,etc while violently protesting against a Danish cartoon which allegedly insulted a Prophet of Islam. I categorically condemn the drawing of Danish cartoon that's insulted Islamic faith, a cartoon could cost 28 Muslim lives! A cartoon could "draw" few million of protesters around the world...

I mentioned it before in another article that if CNN or BBC documentary producer was to conclude that the Mother of Jesus was not a virgin as it is scientifically and physiologically impossible for Mary to give birth to Jesus without having pre-marital sex, you won't see Christians threatening to kill the documentary producer or staging global Christian demonstration or protest. Christianity has remained unscathed in spite of the annual TV documentaries casting doubt on the virgin birth of Jesus. Watch CNN or BBC documentaries before Christmas season every year...

Let's come back to the Jews and Palestinians issues:
1.Jews, Palestinians and Arabians are descendants of Ibrahim (Abraham).
2.Therefore,Muslims and the Jews forefathers were from the same place in Arabian Peninsula (as Jews and Muslims acknowledge Adam and Eve are their ancestors, unlike those who believe that their ancestors were monkey or orang hutan).
3.Hence, it is undeniable and indisputable that Israel (the location) is also the homeland for Jews.
3.There are less 14 million Jews in the world (about 0.2% of world population).
4.Israel population stands at 7.2 Million (2008),of which Jews=5.4 million, Arab (including Palestinian)=1.5 million, Other=0.2 million
5.The size of Israel is 20991 sq KM (about the size of Johor)
6.The size of Israel accounts for about 3% of land in the entire Arabian Peninsula.
7.The total Palestinian population worldwide is estimated 10 million people.
8.Roughly half of all Palestinians continue to live in Israel, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.
9.The other half, many of whom are refugees, live elsewhere around the world and comprise what is known as the Palestinian diaspora.
10.Palestinian diaspora in Jordan,Lebanon, Syria,Egypt have not got any better than their counterparts in Israel, most of them are unemployed and left unattended in those countries.
11.Many Palestinians are hoping to seek employment in Israel and Israel had granted considerable number of work permits to Palestinians before year 2000, 125,000 Palestinians working in Israel and the number reflected over 25% of the entire Palestinian workforce.
12.In 2002, Israeli security concerns reduced the number of Palestinian work permits to 7,532, leaving over 110,000 Palestinians unemployed.
13. Since 2002, the number of work permits issued has depended on the political climate and have gone up and down, though never returning to the natural rate of employment before year 2000.
14.For example, in 2004 the Israeli government issued 33,386 work permits to Palestinians employed in Israel, Israeli controlled industrial zones, and the Israeli settlements, but this number has recently dropped again.
15. Many Palestinians work illegally in Israel.
16. If Jews and Palestinians can reconcile and put their differences aside, it is to the benefits of Jews and Palestinians, more Palestinians will be able to gain employment in Israel and Israel can attain higher economic growth, however, would Muslim world want it to happen?

In spite of global Muslim movement screaming and crying to rescue the Palestinians, the Super-rich oil-producing Muslim countries haven't done much to help them, countries like Syria,Lebanon and Jordon are shunning Palestinians when they are in need of help in healthcare, education and employment, etc.
1. There are about 1.5 billion Muslims around the world.
2.There are more Muslims (about 6 Million) than Jews in the US.
3.Jews were almost completely exterminated during the Holocaust in the 30s and 40s.
4.Out of 750 Nobel Prize Winners, about 180 are Jews.
5.China, a country with 1.5 billion population, is dependent on Israel for technology transfer.
5. According to Dr. Mahathir, the Jews rule the world by proxy.
6. Muslims ought to think deeply what's made Jews invincible.
7. It is possible for 1500000000 Muslims around the world who can outperform, outshine and outmanoeuvre 14000000 Jews and rule the world directly without proxy.
8. Instead of confrontation, Muslims around the world should encourage the reconciliation and cooperation between Palestine and Israel.
9. But some Muslim/Islamic countries won't want to see it happen! Countries like Syria, Libya, Lebanon might lose it political direction when Palestinians and Jews embrace one another and Jihadists in other countries may lose their job.
10. Both Jews and Muslims have many similarities and in fact it is much easier for Muslims and Jews to embrace each other culture and custom.
11. What has made Jews strong is education, education, education, and their emphasis on education!
12. The determined pursuit of education,science,technology, business knowledge etc is the only way to enhance one's employability and competitiveness, lack of it has caused some Muslims (especially those who love to wage Holy war on "imaginary" demons) to withdraw from this life and fancy life hereafer.
13. Look at Muslims in Southern Thailand and Philippine, we know what they are up to and religion is merely a camouflage for them to fulfil their personal political ambition and create trouble.
14. When they achieve power, they will use power to torture and suppress more Muslims, Muslims in in Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan and Iraq have suffered enough!
15. Just think why hundred of thousand of Muslims want to flee the countries like Afghanistan,Iran,Sudan,etc?
16. Why they dream of going to the "demonized" countries like US, Australia, Germany,Canada, etc? why?

The problem we face today is that many Muslim leaders in Muslim/Islamic countries have failed to live up the true spirit of Islamic faith, instead of following the commandments of Allah, they allow corruption and personal interests to destroy their countries! They are using Israel, Jews or other trivial issues to divert the attention of the people, so they can cover their weaknesses; they are trained and "specialized" in finding scapegoat and spewing racist remarks! One good example: In 1997, Our former Prime Minister Dr.Mahathir blamed George Soros for financial crisis and accused George Soros of being involved in international conspiracy. Anyway, both of them have since reconciled.

The Jews and Palestinians issue can only be solved if Muslim world is willing to promote peace and reconciliation between the Palestinians and Jews, encourage Palestine and Israel to look beyond current political stalemate and focus on their similarities, bury the hatchet and look for peaceful co-existence; both Jews and Arab Palestinians are direct descendants of Ibrahim (Abraham), you think Ibrahim is happy to see his offspring killing one another in Paradise? Palestinians have been "thrust" into the battlefield by Muslims around the world, Palestinians want peace, security education and employment, NOT war with the Jews! A small group of Palestinians has been foolishly used and provoked by Muslim countries to continue waging war against the Jews, they claim that they are representing all Palestinians so they can justify their acts of terrorism, therefore Palestinians are being placed at the frontier to serve other Muslim countries political agenda, they don't want Palestinians to have peace and be free from the suffering of war with the Jews, they want Palestinians/Palestine to continue its role to "solidify" global Muslims unity, without which, Muslims worldwide will lose a "precious" shared enemy--the Jews and the unity of Muslim countries around the world may start to crumble. There are various ways to help Palestinians, Muslims around the world can build the best schools, colleges, universities and hospitals for them, bring in investments in Gaza Strip and West bank to create employment opportunities, send 500,000 Muslim intellectuals to provide free remedial lessons for Palestinian school children, etc,etc. No matter how hard we "act"- twisting our face wailing and crying out for help for Palestinians,as if we were possessed by the devil, the fate of Palestinians will still remain unchanged. Is Malaysia willing to send 1000 Muslim teachers to Palestine to help the kids there? As a non-Muslim, I am willing to join! Indonesia, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mali,etc, you'd better take good care of yourself first, don't cry for Palestinians when you should cry for your children who are deprived of basic nutrition, shelter and education.satan is very happy when the descendants of Ibrahim killing one another. Don't let satan reign in our land.

Let's pursue peace, forgiveness and reconciliation.

World Peace is not a dream, if Muslims are willing to initiate it...
We have few hundred thousand of Palestinians eagerly longing and waiting for Work Permits to gain employment in Israel, they want to feed their children and provide for their family, please don't mislead or force them into being a martyr!

Suicide bomber kills 31 in attack on Iraq police station

SAMARRA, Iraq : A suicide bomber detonated his explosives-filled truck near the police station of the central Iraqi Shiite town of Dujail on Friday, killing at least 31 people, officials said. It was the second attack on Friday targeting the country's majority Shiite community after a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a mosque in the northern town of Sinjar earlier in the day killing two worshippers. The bomber struck in Dujail, in the Sunni province of Salaheddin north of Baghdad, at around 6:00 pm (1500 GMT) just minutes before people were getting ready to break their daily fast for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Haider al-Dujaili, the head of the Dujail town council, told AFP that 31 people were slain in the bombing and another 40 wounded.

My frustration overwhelms me whenever I read about news on ruthless killings of innocent people by suicide bombers!
Most of the suicide bombers are believing that they are the chosen "divine" agents to carry out Allah's intruction to kill and destroy.
They don't accept the fact that Allah is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient, He created the the whole universe in His glory.
Almighty Allah created everything including diamond and gold, therefore He is rich as He possesses everything.
If Allah is rich, He won't promote "the poorer you are, the holier you will be" religious concept.
Allah is pleased and happy to see His people happy, rich, kind, healthy, helpful and spiritual at the same time.
Being poor is not what Allah wants His people to be, because Adam and Eve were not meant to be poor when Allah created them.
Suicide bombers are usually poor and miserable people who can't live a proper and decent life due to the lack of employable skills and knowledge, they are usually simple-minded.
Suicide bombers are people who feel despondent about this life so they fancy life hereafter.
Suicide bombers can't help themselves, their family, community and country out of abject poverty and sordid living conditions, and yet they think they can help Allah. You can't help what you can see, do you think you can help what you can't see??
They are the poor chaps who can't live for themselves and yet they want die for Allah.
Suicide bombers, who do you think you're to represent Allah on earth? Stop insulting Allah with your acts of stupidity!
Allah doesn't need you! He is omnipotent and He can do everything on His own, don't be a busybody!

I voted for PAS for few reasons, I see their sincerity, determination and courage to wipe out corruption in Malaysia! They are the true believers of Islamic faith and not hypocrites like some others. I may not fully agree with PAS political agenda, but their very existence has provided us with another political alternative.

Let's look at what Quran says about unbelievers and hypocrites:

"O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be hard against them; and their abode is hell; and evil is the resort".--Quran 66:009 Set 83, Count 162

Hypocrite: noun [C]: when someone pretends to believe something that they do not really believe or that is the opposite of what they do or say at another time.
Unbeliever: noun [C]: a person who does not believe, doubter, skeptic, an incredulous person.

Who are Hypocrites and Unbelievers among us?

Allah has endowed us with "Human Rights", but Hypocrites and Unbelievers wantonly trample upon human rights.
Allah is against racism, but Hypocrites and Unbelievers perpertuate racism.
Allah is against corruption, but Hypocrites and Unbelievers in Malaysia have blatantly been involved in corruption, and over the last 20 over years more than RM380000000000 (RM380 billion) have been stolen by corrupt officials!
Allah is against injustice, but it is a travesty of justice to see our incompetent, dishonourable and unqualified judges fixed by Hypocrites and Unbelievers!
Allah is against laziness, but Hypocrites and Unbelievers are cultivating a "National" legitimate habit of "waiting to be fed"!

The Quran reminds us of nations who were destroyed because they had rebelled, disobeyed and spread corruption. It also gives us a glimpse of the life in Hereafter of people who do good and who love and obey Alah. In the scheme of divine revelation, the past, present and the future are one continuum.
We know the fate which awaits us for all the sins which we have committed and which we are planing to commit. Remember: "Hell is the abode"!

This Holy month of Ramadan is also a month of Revelation, we must strive hard against Hypocrites and Unbelievers, they have to go...

If Umno is telling the truth...

I received emails asking me why I hate BN or Umno. I wish to clarify that I hate racism and corruption to the core! Umno is just a political organization, whereas BN is a political coalition. I don't have to hate an organization or its people, but I hate their immoral behaviour and hypocrisy!

Umno, as the backbone of BN, has deepened the racial polarization in our country by misleading the Malay masses into believing that granting the citizenships to Chinese and Indians have resulted in serious and irrevocable consequences for the Malays, therefore, Chinese and Indians must be systematically categorized and addressed as "Pendatang" to highlight the supreme position of "Penduduk".

I do agree that, prior to Malaya Independence, the first generation of "immigrants" can be perceived as "Pendatang", many of them were from Indonesia, China and India and they came to Malaysia mainly for the sole reason of earning a livelihood. But how can the Malaysia-born non-Malays (non-bumis) be considered as "Pendatang"? Under the guise of protecting Malay rights and interests, our government has imposed "generational curse" on us and expediently labelled us as a potential "threat" to the Malay rights and interests.

To instill "fear" into the mind of Malays, Umno first created tension in the area of education by projecting the image of non-Malays as the "robber" of scholarships and university places. To perpetuate the antagonism between Malays and non-Malays, thousand of over-qualified non-bumi students have been denied tertiary education in public universities or the course they wish to pursue. We are being "penalized" for studying hard, worse still, we are deemed as potential "threat" and "robber"! Who have robbed Malaysians of education opportunity? Umno...
Our corrupt governance is highlighted in Time Asia magazine issue on March 15 2004, South East Asian economist at Morgan Stanley in Singapore figures “that Malaysia may have lost as much as U$$100 billion (RM380 billion=RM380000000000) since the early 1980s to corruption.” Malaysia lost RM 380 billion to corruption during Mahathir’s 22 year old reign, the actual situation could have worsened and this is a conservative figure! Most of the cronies have "parked" their money overseas...

RM380000000000 can build hundred, if not thousand, world-class universities and hospitals!! Every qualified Bumi and non-Bumi students could have been sufficiently provided with scholarship. But Umno-led government will have to reject few Malay applicants and many non-Malay applicants to create the atmosphere of animosity and antagonism, Umno can "drain" Rm380000000000 and yet tell the Rakyat that the government doesn't have money to provide ample number of scholarships!! Those few Malay applicants will think non-Malays have taken away their opportunities and the non-Malays will hate the government for defending the Malay rights and interests. Does Umno really bother to care for the Malay rights and interests??

To gain legitimacy to rule and exploit Malaysia, Umno has resorted to communalism,ostensibly to protect the rights and interests of Malays, but in actual fact to enrich a small group of cronies who have plundered the wealth of our country with impunity! Any challenge to remove this small group of cronies and clean up our government will be interpreted as challenging the supreme position of the Malays, and for this reason, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been accused of betraying the Malay rights and interests.

We can build hundred of world-class public universities and provide sufficient scholarships to accommodate the desire of every Malaysian, regardless of race, to receive tertiary education, but Umno won't allow it to happen since this is a specific area where they can easily gain political mileage to perpetuate their exploitation in the country. The Malay masses will always be thankful to Umno and forgive Umno of their transgressions as they have been indoctrinated and brainwashed into believing that without Umno they will be finished off economically and politically. Umno's cohorts in BN like MCA and MIC further reinforce the "threat" and "robber" conspiracy in the mind of Malays! DAP's ideology of equality for all races further frightens Malays off.

I seriously don't think Chinese or other non-bumis are against any government policies to sincerely protect the interests and rights of Malays so as to uplift the Malays' competitiveness, but Umno has chosen a short-cut to mislead Malays by rejecting Chinese and other non-bumis. Non-bumis entry into Mara institute of Technology Universiti (UiTM) are totally denied to effectively demonstrate Umno protection over Malay rights and interests.

Can we remove this small group of corrupt cronies, clean up our government without compromising the special rights and position of Malays? Yes, we can!
1.We can give scholarships to all Malays who are in need of it.
2.We can establish more universities to accommodate every Malay desire to receive good and complete education.
3.Only able, honest and responsible Malay businessmen are awarded government projects.

If Umno is telling the truth, Umno won't treat non-bumis as "pendatang" because without pendatang sweating blood in this country, Umno won't be able to claim the credits before the Malay masses, and Malaysia may not be what it is today! Instead of recognizing our sincerity and contributions, Umno has successfully invented an imaginary "enemy" so that they can assume a legitimate role of "Protector"!

My indignation is that: How can Umno repay kindness and well-intention with hostility?!

Being able to excel in education and business is crucial for our country to move forward and compete internationally, it is for the benefits of Malaysia and Malays as well, but Umno has wrongly interpreted our efforts as "threat" to the rights and interests of Malays.

... Of Numerical Superiority!

On 10th Sept 1982, Dr Mahathir in his address at the 33rd Umno Annual General Assembly urged Malaysians to aim for a population of 70 million as a basis for a ready market and demand for local goods. (In fact, everybody knows Dr. Mahathir was urging Malays to increase the population).

On 6th April 1984, Dr Mahathir announced that maternity and leave benefits would be extended to parents having five children as a measure to encourage people to have more children to achieve the 70 million population target.

Without taking into consideration of health, education, employment and other social issues, Dr. Mahathir's goal was simply to achieve "numerical" superiority so as to ensure racial dominance "numerically" -- the more we have, the stronger we will be! I hate to make this comparison, but I think we should have the knowledge that there are only less than 14 million of Jewish people around the world; out of about 750 Nobel Prize laureates, 180+ are Jewish people. According to Dr. Mahathir, the Jews rule the world by proxy, which has further proven that "Number" doesn't really count!

We can "import" 45 million from Indonesia to achieve the target immediately or we can urge every married couple in Malaysia to have at least 8-10 children. But is Malaysia economy strong enough to sustain the rapid and "abnormal" rate of population growth?.

I am not against Dr.Mahathir policy to increase our population, but it must not be done for the sole purpose of achieving racial imbalance and therefore create racial dominance for a particular racial group in the country. This is a dangerous move because it can destabilize our country economically, socially and even politically. By granting citizenships to million of indonesians won't alleviate the poverty of Malays or improve their standard of living, conversely, it will aggravate the situation and reduce the government resources available to each Malay household. It seriously makes things worse!

What's the point of having more children when we can't nurture them, give them food, shelter and a proper education?

I respect Dr.Mahathir for many reasons!

In spite of being an Indian Muslim , Dr. Mahathir managed to successfully assimilate himslef into the main stream of Malay society and became the Prime Minister of Malaysia for 22 years. His ability to completely leave behind his Indian heritage to become more "Malay" than "ordinary Malays" has given hope and inspiration to many "wannabe". If you go to some states like Penang and Kedah, you will see many Malays with Indian appearance, they are the most faithful Malays to show that they are Malays and I sincerely urge all Malaysians to accept them as Malay and don't categorize them into a new ethnic group, I have never come across any IC with "Mamak" as ethnicity!

To demonstrate their faithfulness, they climbed up the wall to tear a photograph of a former BN Chief Minister and went on street to demonstrate against Lim Guan Eng new state policies, they can do anything to prove that they are Malay!

If you read Dr. Mahathir snippet below, you will understand how hard and how painstakingly our former Prime Minister had done to tirelessly persuade the non-Malay citizens of Malaysia to behave like him so we will be able to forge National Unity and all the racial issues will be completely resolved. As an Indian to be become the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir can attest to it.

Is that true? Let's examine:

Dr. Mahathir Snippet in bold:
1.Malaysia has a multi-racial population but is quite unique in that the division is not just by race alone but by religion, language, culture and economic situation. Unity in such a diversity is extremely difficult to achieve.

We should celebrate diversity, and diversity is the strength of our country. Unity must start from individual "heart" to accept one another and appreciate each other culture and language, most importantly, we ought to respect individual right to freely embrace any religion. It is not difficult to achieve unity in diversity if we have the paradigm shift from "race hegemony" to "equality".

2. If we study other nations where people of different ethnic groups have immigrated, we will find that integration and unity depended on several important factors. Firstly the indigenous people or the people who had set up the country make up at least initially, a very big proportion of the population. Additionally they would be dominant and materially successful. The small numbers of immigrants trickling in found it judicious and beneficial to be identified with the numerically superior and powerful dominant inhabitants. They would willingly forget their original languages and adopt the language of the people of the country as well as their culture; they would intermarry and over time they would be totally absorbed and assimilated and identified with the indigenous people. In such a situation unity is not a problem. The United States is one such country where the original language and basic culture of first settlers are accepted by later immigrants.

Dr. Mahathir said: "Unity is not a problem if "immigrants" willingly forget their original language and adopt the language of the people of the country as well as their culture". Do you think all the Chinese and Indians who "willingly" forget their language and speak Bahasa Malaysia only, and completely adopt the Malay culture, then we will have unity in Malaysia? If all the Indians have spoken Bahasa Malaysia and professed Islamic faith, Dr. Mahathir won't be able to become Prime Minister of Malaysia, I will explain why later...

3. In the old days before the coming of the Europeans the few Chinese and Indians who settled in Malacca adopted the language and much of the culture of the Malays. Though there was no assimilation nevertheless good relations existed between the immigrant settlers and the Malays. Unfortunately when later the China-born Chinese-speaking immigrants dominated in numbers as well as economic wealth, the Malay speaking Baba and Nyonya deliberately dropped their Malay language and Baba culture and reverted to being Chinese in every way possible.

As a Peranakan, I agree that we have very much adopted the Malay language. However, to your surprise we are more Chinese than the China-born Chinese when it comes to genuine Chinese traditions and we never "deliberately" drop Malay language, my mother is still using Malay in her daily conversation with my grandmother, many young Peranakan speak English because it is the working language in business sector; should the need arise, we can shift to Malay language to please Dr. Mahathir. My uncle is a civil servant who married a Malay, but according to him, it is "impossible" for Chinese to become Malay even though you embrace the culture, speak the language and profess Islamic faith; your outward appearance will always be the main hindrance, therefore, it is easier for Indian and Bangladeshi to become Malay than Chinese. My uncle speaks English and Malay at home, he and his wife sent all their children to Chinese elementary school merely because of "economic reason". The global investment Guru Jim Roger said: "the biggest investment in 21st century is to learn Chinese". Jim Roger decided to settle down in Singapore because of the bilingual environment for his children.

4. Difficulties in assimilation arise when the late comers are more dynamic and better equipped to progress than the indigenous people. A feeling of superiority towards the indigenous people tended to keep the late-comers apart. As their community grew they established separate enclaves and erect invisible barriers against the indigenous. As their numbers grew the separation became deeper.

Since Dr. Mahathir said: "late comers are more dynamic and better equipped to progress than the indigenous people", then what's the point to retrograde?? Why Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Singapore, Germany and many developed countries are all out to source and attract talents to their countries?? They don't expect the talents to contribute what they already have, but what they don't so they can achieve progress and prosperity for their countries. Malaysia becomes a more vibrant and dynamic country because the late comers have injected new spirit into it - to drive the growth of economy and therefore alleviate poverty for Malaysia. Malaysian must be taught to appreciate it! Dr. Mahathir once said: "if we discount the economic contribution of the non-Malay, Malaysia won't be much better than some African countries". And Dr. Mahathir also said:"26% of total population contributed largest chunk of tax (nearly 80++%) to Malaysia government". Thanks for Dr.Mahathir appreciation and acknowledgement, but Dr. Mahathir is only saying to Chinese community and we don't know what he has told the Malay community (maybe you've to read his book titled: The Malay Dilemma".

We must continue to add in colors to our countries by accepting talents from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and other countries. Conversely, our government is only too keen to reduce the "colorful picture" of Malaysia by taking in million of refugees/unskilled immigrants (be it legal or illegal) who share much resemblance to the dominant ethnic group in Malaysia. Instead of bringing social progress and prosperity for us, they've brought in social problems. Anybody who can create wealth in our country will directly bring benefits to the Malays via distribution of wealth through tax (for government to hire Malay civil servants and for Malays to have scholarships, buy cheaper house, etc), therefore, the more talents we have, the more Malays will benefit from it. Imagine we have attracted 500 thousand Japanese, Korean, India, Indonesia successful businessmen and scientists to Malaysia, just think how much wealth they can create for our country. Granting citizenship to someone who can contribute to our country was not a wrong policy and we must continue it. But Dr. Mahathir has been telling a different story to frighten the Malay masses.

5. The British are only partly responsible for the separation of the races in Malaysia, for keeping the Malays in the rural areas, the Chinese in the urban areas and the Indians in the estates. The different races are also responsible. They made no attempt to mix together as a matter of preference.

Yes, I fully agree! The British colonial government was responsible for it.

6. The Malays before World War II really believed that the Chinese and Indians were temporary guests who would return to their countries once they had made enough money. So it was at the beginning.

I am not a Malay born before 2nd World War, I don't know whether Chinese an Indians are temporary guests. But I know I am a Malaysian born in Malaysia and will mostly die in Malaysia.

7. Even when they showed signs of staying permanently, the Malays and their Rulers believed the British would honour the treaties which recognised the Malay States as the land of the Malays, the peninsula as Tanah Melayu or Malay Land.

We all honour it. The Sultans of each State must have the best CEO to run the state to take care of His Majesty subjects "on behalf of His Majesty", but look at what'd happened in Trengannu and Selangor, by being involved in corruptions, the former Menteri Besars had no respect for His Majesty at all...

8. But after the Brits returned after the war they talked of "giving" this country to whoever wishes to stay here. Although the Malays rejected this and forced the Malayan Union to be abandoned, they realised that things had changed and they had to recognise the claims of some of the non-Malays at least.

So, thankfully, Malaysia retained Chinese and Indians and that's made our country very colorful, vibrant and dynamic, and that has made the Malays become more united because of Indians and Chinese! Dr. Mahathir's father could stay in Malaysia instead of being deported back to India and his son went on to become a doctor and the best Prime Minister of Malaysia. Isn't it a wonderful story??

9. To cut a long story short independent Malaysia recognised the citizenship rights of the non-Malays and gave them quite freely. This is unlike many countries in the region where strict conditions were imposed. In fact, some immigrants were actually expelled.

Yes, we, non-Malays + Malays, must always be thankful that we are the citizens of Malaysia! And had the forced expulsion taken place, Dr. Mahathir would be selling "kacang Puteh" in India, and I would be a farmer in China, and Malay girls and boys would be like their Indonesian counterparts being maids and cheap labours overseas. Thanks goodness, we are all better off than that today!!

1. Why Vietnamese girls have to marry unknown men overseas to support their family?

2. Why the Philippino and Indonesian girls ought to leave their family to work overseas as maids?

3. Why the men from Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, the Philippine, Myanmar, India, China, Thailand, etc, have to work overseas as cheap labours?

4. Why not Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan?

5. Why not Malaysia?

10. The hope at independence was that the non-Malays would accept a single national language and a single national identity. But it became clear very quickly that the Chinese and the Indians wanted to retain their identities, their mother tongue and their culture. They did not want to be solely Malaysians, certainly not Malays.

Dr. Mahathir still doesn't understand the beauty of multiculturalism and diversity! Can I learn 3 languages (Malay, English, Chinese) to enhance my marketability and employability? Isn't it better for Malaysians to speak more languages and to experience various cultures?! My Malay friends would voice their vehement objections if the government cancel holidays for Chinese New Year and Indian festival, and if government cancels holidays for Hari Raya Chinese and Indians and Malays would also go on street to demand HOLIDAYS!! Why is Dr. Mahathir so concerned about what language and culture? Is it more nicer and interesting to see Malaysia as a MONOETHNIC, MONOLINGUAL, MONORELIGION AND MONOCULTURAL country?? We should focus more on national economy rather than language and cultural issues.

11. At the beginning some prominent people tried multi-racial politics but this was rejected by the ordinary Malays, Chinese and Indians. In the end we settled for a compromise - retain your racial identity but cooperate with each other in a coalition of racial parties.

Wrong and misleading!! Umno has long tried to portray multi-racial political parties as a challenge to "Ketuanan Melayu", I support "Ketuanan Melayu" and I support multi-racial political parties. I will explain what is "Ketuanan Melayu" in my next article.

12. Politically it was a good formula and it worked. But when English schools were abolished and the Malay, Chinese and Indians children went to their own schools rather than to the national schools where the teaching was in the National Language. The hope for true national integration faded. After this even the attempt to put the schools from the three language streams in one campus was rejected by the Chinese.

13. It is no good blaming the politicians for perpetuating racial schism. Some of them who tried to ignore racial loyalties simply failed politically. For various reasons the races preferred to stay separated. They may meet at their work place or the playing field but they go home to separate enclaves according to their race.

Because Umno likes to play with it, the rest just has no choice!

14. We had opted for democracy and popularity decides who rules the country. Those who reject racialism simply lost popular support. But those who embrace racialism won.

15. They are not racists. The leaders of the different races were, at least in the beginning, able to get along well with each other. They developed close friendship. But they had to be very conscious of their racial backing and to cater to racial demands.

We know it's hard to satisfy everybody, but has Dr. Mahathir openly supported multiculturalism and diversity? or at least has he tried to encourage the support for multiculturalism and diversity? Multiculturalism and diversity were thrust upon Dr. Mahathir and he just accepted it reluctantly, unwillingly and grudgingly.

16. The lower ranking leaders, the ordinary members of political parties and the people as a whole had shown no sign of forgetting their racial identity. There may be few liberal minded ones who reject race, but some who do this do so because they believe their own race would gain by it. So even these people are racialist at heart.

I for one won't mind having a 100% Malay Cabinet and 100% Malay Parliament if the all the Malays MPs and Cabinet Ministers are honest, able, capable, non-racist and "corruption-proof"!

17. Then came the resurgence of Islam worldwide. The Malaysian Malays began to adopt Islamic conservativeness especially with the dress code. This tended to push them further apart from the non-Muslims who saw this as an attempt to differentiate Muslim Malaysians from non-Muslim Malaysians. Some people suspect that this is the intention.

I agree and it all began with Umno Islamization policies and Dr.Mahathir is the pioneer to declare Malaysia an Islamic State.

18. The behaviour of some extremist exponents of Islamic separateness did not help.

It is all because Dr. Mahathir condoned it while he was at the helm. Umno started the "Islamization Race" with PAS.

19. And so the races drifted further and further apart. All the time the so-called non-racial parties with their single-minded campaign against the positions of the Malays and Islam as agreed upon at the beginning actually intensified Malay racial sentiments, causing them to yearn for Malay unity rather than Malaysian unity.

Umno can only win the elections by means of communalism! Who have incited the Kampong Malays to distrust Chinese?

20. The ideal of having a non-racial Malaysian nationality has now been almost forgotten. As the self-proclaimed non-racists attacked Malay racialism, the feeling among the Malays hardened. Openly the Malays have not attacked Chinese racialism as manifested by their practical rejection of the use of the National language, their rejection of the National schools, their Malaysian Malaysia slogan. If they do it would be muted and certainly not as blatant as non-Malay attacks against Malay racialism.

Dr. Mahathir you are the one who has constantly and openly attacked Chinese racialism to prove your "Malayness". Are you trying to say if Chinese speak Malay and attend national schools. there will be national unity?

21. The Malays have seen what has happened to the Malays of Singapore and they have no desire to be like Singapore Malays.

Dr.Mahathir can you tell me what has happened to the Malays of/in Singapore? If they are so miserable in Singapore, why the Malays of Singapore refuse to leave Singapore and go to a more monoethnic environment in Indonesia or Malaysia? Why are you so concerned about the Malays of Singapore? I travel quite extensively in Indonesia, can you look beyond the tiny island of Singapore? I can bring you to Batam, Bintang and Karimun and those Islands surrounding Singapore to see for yourself how the Malays there living in abject poverty and sordid conditions? or if you don't mind we can travel together to Jakarta slum areas. Why Khir Toyo father and Syed Hamid father wanted to migrate to Malaysia from Indonesia as the country is more monoethnic? Why Indonesian workers want to work illegally in Singapore since the Malays of Singapore are so miserable? And there are considerable number of Malay Malaysians working and living in Singapore. Why?

Of course they have no desire to be like Singapore Malays...no "crutch" in Singapore! In Malaysia, where does the "crutch" come from??

22. So their reaction is to seek for Malay unity. They feel threatened, and their fear is real. Admittedly there are among the younger educated Malays a few who claim to reject Malay unity. But these people do not represent the vast majority of the Malays.

Chinese unity for what? Indian unity for what? and Malay unity for what and against what??

23. Malay unity, if it becomes stronger will make it more difficult to bring about Malaysian unity. But it must be remembered that the Chinese and Indian are also keen to retain their identities more and more. The Hindraf memorandum is very telling. And the Chinese educationists want even stronger role for Chinese language.

So we have to dismantle Chinese unity, Indian unity, Malay unity, Iban unity, Bajau unity, Orang Asli unity to forge Malaysian Unity!

24. The trend is obviously against Malaysian Unity. A weak and unstable Government with its crude attempts to win over the different races through giving in on all demands does not help. Every time it gives in to the demands of one race it simply antagonises and pushes the other races further away.

Dr. Mahathir, this is your mentality again!

25. If we still want Malaysian Unity we need to be willing to make sacrifices regarding what we consider to be our racial rights. Everyone has to do this. The leaders must be given some mandate to discuss these matters in private and to make concessions. After each step the lower rung leaders of each race must be given full briefing as to why the concessions have to be made. It would be useless if they don't agree.

There will be no Malaysian unity if we don't learn to appreciate and accept multiculturalism and diversity!

26. Provided we can roll back the present unhealthy trends and redirect it towards more positive non-racial objectives, provided we do this slowly by small steps we may be able to create a truly Malaysian identity where race would gradually become less important. It will take time but with sincerity we may reverse the present trends and move towards increasing co-operation and integration.

To achieve the goal of Malaysian Unity, we just have to open our heart to accept one another, to embrace multiculturalism and universal and Islamic value of equality, to care for the less fortunate and underprivileged, regardless of race, language and religion.

Dr. Mahathir thinks if you and I become the "same" and we will be living happily together forever, we don't have to worry about the bread and butter issues, we don't have to be apprehensive of job and employment issues, and we will be at peace, forever! So Dr. Mahathir thinks the monoethnic countries in the world would be the happiest and most peaceful!

We can infer from Dr. Mahathir's snippet above that he believes unity comes from "sameness" and "mono-", and he thinks that with unity, we will have everything, without unity we will lose everything; thus, over his 22 years of premiership, he started the "Unity Engineering" to instil the "fear" into the mind of Malays that if they fail to stand united behind Umno, they will be "swallowed up" like the Malays of Singaore.

I mentioned earlier that if all the Indians had adopted Malay culture and became Muslims, Dr. Mahathir won't be able to become the Prime Minister of Malaysia, why? Because Dr. Mahathir will immediately be relegated into Indian Muslims or a new "Indian-Malay Muslims" category! After you deal with "ethno-centricism", there comes a new "self-centricism", there is an undesirable inherent trait in human beings which enables us to unconsciously and subconsciously categorize the "differences" between us. Therefore, you have African American, Asian American, etc. Once all the Chinese and Indians have adopted Malay culture, language and religion, Chinese may only become "Malay-Chinese" race and Indians "Malay-Indian" race. And if we are really successful in achieving full assimilation, there may come the judgement of the color of the skins, Fair Malay, Dark Malay and Brown Malay, etc...The number of Indian Muslims in Malaysia have not grown big enough to become a noticeable "category", so the main stream of Malay society has been willing to accept them as Malay.

So, just imagine if we "disappear" all the Chinese and Indians in Malaysian (transfer all the Chinese and Indians to Sabah to mix with illegal immigrants) , will the Malays in peninsula be united, successful and happy and problems-free? The answer is NO! Malays may disintegrate into different identities like Bugis, Malay, Java, good Muslim, faithful Muslim etc; Malays may even challenge the monarchy as what has happened in some monoethnic countries like Nepal (became a Republic this year), Indonesia (became a Republic), Cambodia (the King is no longer respected Army Chiefs), etc. Unless our country is rich and progressing well like Brunei, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and other European nations, the significance of our Monarchy system could be made weak if the need to safeguard Malays interests and Islam had become irrelevant (since all Chinese and Indians have "disappeared", there is no so-called "threat" anymore, what is there to protect against)?...

Same race, same language, same culture and same religion do not guarantee same thoughts, same characters, same color of skin and same level of intelligence, etc! Examples:

1. Prior to 1997, why Hong Kong was against Chinese rule?

2. Why some Taiwanese want to pursue independence?

3. Why Aceh wants to secede from Indonesia?

4. Many others

So, Dr. Mahathir, please don't worry, with the low birth rate of Chinese and other reasons, in 80 years time, out of the total popultion in Malaysia, Chinese will only make up to 2-3% and may be in 180 years time, Chinese will disappear from this country, you think your great great grandchildren will be very happy?! It is just a short time throughout the history of the development of nationhood. No more Chinese schools in the country, no more Chinese temples in the country and no more Chinese in the country, I couldn't imagine how happy your great great great grandchildren would be. By the way, I am still curious that why you are so unhappy with Chinese learning the Chinese language and adopt Chinese culture, is it that Chinese learning the Chinese language is one of the root-causes of the Malay dilemma? or you purposely want the Malays to be narrow-minded?

Television footage showed the victims — mostly women — screaming as they were pushed into the fence outside the home. At least 23 died and eight others were hospitalized, Sitompul said, some after being trampled and others from lack of oxygen.
Many of Indonesia's 220 million Muslims fast during the daylight hours of Ramadan.
Under a system known as Zakat, the wealthy are required to give away a portion of their money to the poor, but distribution is often chaotic and sometimes deadly. Many donors choose to hand out gifts directly, worried that corrupt government officials will try to pocket some of the cash.
"It's tragic and embarrassing," said Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamzah. "It goes to show that we have to find a better way ... we have to fix this."
The man behind Monday's charity event, reportedly a car dealer, was placed under police protection afterward to prevent reprisal attacks from relatives of victims, said Mayor Aminurohman, who like many Indonesians goes by a single name.
The same man held a similar event last year that drew thousands of people and resulted in one death, with dozens injured, he said.

I've received many feedback and emails about my personal fasting experience and the reading of Quran, some said my view is thought-provoking while others used inflammatory words to demonize me, their letters are full of religious rhetoric which could have the potential of inciting sectarian violence! Also, there are three readers accused me of having a political agenda intending to "poison" the mind of Muslims...

I am a simple person pursuing the simplicity of life.
I am just sharing my personal experience of fasting and the reading of Quran.
I am not a supporter of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, but I support any cause to make Malaysia a better place for all of us.
I seriously do not think a simple letter of mine can "poison" the mind of Muslims.
I am Not promoting Islamic "Liberalism", but through the reading of Quran, I find it undeniable that Allah's given Adam and the progeny of Adam a choice - A choice to follow the teaching of Quran and walk in righteousness, or a choice to betray the mercy of Allah and follow the footsteps of satan.
I am of the view that if Muslims don't follow the teaching and the spirit of Quran, they are just a "nominal" Muslim, however, those Muslims who go against the teaching of Quran are "bad" Muslims. I leave it to the readers to judge whether good Muslims outnumber bad Muslims in our government.
I am not anti-government or anti-Islam. On the contrary, I sincerely urge our political leaders to use their "heart", not "their mouth", to follow the teaching of Quran.

Nearly 14 years ago, I went to Canada to further my education, throughout my of stay in Canada as a university student, I had the opportunity to meet Muslim friends from Middle-east and other countries, I had a close friend from Iran whose family waited for almost 9 years to come to Canada, his father was killed in Iran-Iraq war which lasted almost 7 years and her mother single-handedly brought up him and his younger brother, he told me almost everything about Islamic faith and his struggle to accept the reality of the Muslim world. Nevertheless, I could always sense the thirst he had to seek the peace of God.

As Canada does take in considerable number of Muslims as asylum seekers, many of them come to Canada with a dream...A dream to be set free, not from Islam faith, but from the dictators who rule under the name of God and using the name of God to wage war - many people died in Iran-Iraq war!!

When I was in Canada, I loved to watch documentary\ies like National Geography, CNN/BBC documentaries, etc. I watched similar TV documentary about the life of Jesus almost every Christmas, some producers cast doubt on the virgin birth of Jesus and some even went to the extent to deduce that Mary had sex with Joseph and bluffed the people into thinking and believing that she was a virgin so as to escape the punishment of the day. No Christian would go on street, running amok and chanting slogans to kill the producer or holding placard to protest against the documentary program... That might not be the case for other faiths! Why?

Don't let devil beasts haunt you!

My previous article touched on the topic of devil or "hantu", this article I must talk about how to counteract the evil deeds by the devil beasts!

When the devil jumps out on us to scare the living daylights out of us, we don't have to confront the devil beasts as they are NOT worthy of our attention! Let's look at what Quran says about these devil beasts at the beginning.

1. The rebellion of "Jinn" or "Genie" and the beginning of satanism (actions of devil beasts) :
A jinn, djinn, from Arabic جني jinn (genie)- is a supernatural fiery creature who is said to possess free will, Evil jinns are said to lead humans astray. In Islam, Satan, known in Arabic as Iblees, is the iconic jinn that refused to bow down to Adam when ordered to by Allah.
Background:
According to the Muslim Faith, when the Almighty Allah created Adam (the father of the human progeny) out of a lump of clay, and commanded the angels to greet him with a 'Sijda' (prostration in humility), Ibless the satan hesitated to obey and accept Adam as his superior because he claimed his own superiority over Adam by virtue of his age long devotion to Allah and creation out of fiery fire. His reluctance to obey and bow before Adam, however, resulted in his condemnation and he was therefore, eternally banished from the pleasure of Allah. Under this great humiliating disappointment, the satan, however, pleaded with Allah that he and his progeny (the satan belongs to the progeny of the jinn or genie) may be granted an everlasting opportunity to mislead mankind into error and sin in order to test the devotion of Adam and his progeny to Allah. This request was granted by the Almighty Allah with the commandment that whosoever followed the satan's path will forfeit His pleasure and that his abode will be in the fire of hell eternally.

The first treacherous act of satan under this arrangement started with the temptation of Adam himself in the well known episode of Eve and the "forbidden fruit" which resulted in the banishment of both Adam and Eve from the heavenly paradise as a punishment against Allah's pleasure and thus the treachery of satan, the avowed enemy of the progeny of Adam, has continued throughout the ages causing perpetual misery among the best majority of those people who succumb to his allure in defiance of the commandments of Allah.
In this respect there are two kinds of people in the world, those who follow the commandants of Allah, and those who are susceptible to the temptations or enticements of satan. There has always been a mighty struggle between the followers of satan and the believers of Allah ever since the creation of Adam in which the latter have always vanquished the former.

2. Name of satan: Iblīs (Arabic إبليس), is the name of the primary d evil (Shaytaan or Satan) in Islam. The word is derived from the Arabic verbal root balasa بَلَسَ, meaning "he despaired"; therefore, the linguistic meaning of Iblees would be "he/it that despairs or causes despair".
Despair (noun) meaning: the feeling that there is no hope and that you can do nothing to improve a difficult or troubling situation.

(English Sentence Example: Is government in a mood of despair or drive the people to despair?)

Inspite of their greater power and ability, the jinns or genies were created by Allah to prostrate humbly before mankind, it has truly shown the tremendous significance Allah has placed on mankind.
Likewise, the government officials are called "Civil Servants", the government offices are called "Public Office", therefore, Prime Minister is also the Chief Public Servant (CPS); in spite of having greater power, they should be for the people, by the people and of the people, as they are the people's servant. But when the government becomes rebellious and refuses to assume the role of "Servanthood", the government is on their way to being banished! The government exists to serve the will of the people and to rule for the benefits of the people; when the government becomes arrogant, they become rebellious at the same time!

How we know whether our political leaders or government have followed the footsteps of devil beasts? Just loot at the characters of devil beasts, we will have the inkling of what our political leaders and government are like!

they are "evil" because they are against "holiness",
they are "filthy" because they are against "cleanness"
they are "corrupt" because they are against "righteousness"
they are "arrogant" because they are against "humility"
they are "cruel" because they are against "compassion"
they are "dictatorial" because they are against "freedom"
they are "avaricious" because they are against "altruism"
they are "depraved" because they are against "justice"
they are "lustful" because they are against "loving"
they are "taking" because they are against "giving"
they are "liar" because they are against "honesty"
they are "vengeful" because they are against "mercy"
they are "polluted" because they are against "purity"
they are "brutal" because they are against "meekness"
they are "racist" because Islam is against racism and prejudice!!

Let's come back to today topic "Don't let devil beasts haunt you!", satan, the devil beasts, always lure us to evil deeds -even in the name of religion! satan wants us to do what he wants us to do, and not to do what Quran teaches us to do. -- satan "dos-list" is as follows:

1. Satan wants to divide us, he wants us to become very racist!
2. satan wants us to distrust one another,
3. satan wants us to suspect one another,
4. satan wants us to hate one another,
5. satan wants us to betray one another,
6. satan wants us to destroy one another,
7. satan wants us to threaten one another,
8. satan wants us to backstab one another,
9. satan wants us to kill one another,
10. satan wants to create chaos so he can impose Emergency Rule!

We are the precious creation of Allah, the strength of our unity will empower us to triumph over the doings of devil beasts in our beloved country, let's unite our hearts, walking hand-in-hand towards the path of righteousness and justice! Let's not fall into the temptation of devil beasts to create chaos; our greatest weapons are Peace, Mercy and Compassion, these are the weapons which the devil beasts are most fearful of because all his plans mentioned above will be completely destroyed by Peace, Mercy and Compassion, if we have all these elements among us, we are well on our way to ushering in a new dawn for Malaysia!

Remember just don't do what satan wants us to do, use our weapons to counteract the evil deeds by devil beasts!

May this Holy Month of Ramadan be a month of Peace, Mercy and Compassion. Amin!

May the Peace of Allah reign in our country!

Ramadan is a Holy Month for all the Muslims to do soul-searching and attain higher spiritual level so as to having a sound mind to distinguish right from wrong – also to receive revelation from Allah.

Let’s look at what Quran says about fasting month of Ramadan:

"Ramadan is the (month) in which Qur'an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, and a clear guidance and judgement (so that mankind will distinguish right from wrong). Whoever among you witnesses the month of Ramadan should fast through it. But whoever is sick or on a journey, the prescribed period (missed should be made up) by days later. Allah wants ease for you and He does not want to put you into difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful" Q(2:185).

"O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for people before you so that you will (learn how to attain) piety" (Q2:183)

As I mentioned in my previous article titled "An Open to All Muslim Friends in Malaysia", I talked about the spiritual significance of fasting and how it could refresh our mind and soul, as a result, we would become a better person because of our empathy with the sufferings of others and, through fasting, pious Muslims would receive the spiritual discernment to distinguish right from wrong. Though a non-Muslim, I can attest to it through voluntarily fasting with Muslims and reading the Quran.

To distinguish right from wrong, we must know what is "goodness" and evil; and we have no problem understanding "goodness"- but to know evil, we must come to an understanding of the characters of devil, ghost and satan, or "hantu"!

Iblīs (Arabic إبليس), is the name of the primary d evil (Shaytaan or Satan) in Islam. The word is derived from the Arabic verbal root balasa بَلَسَ, meaning "he despaired"; therefore, the linguistic meaning of Iblees would be "he/it that despairs or causes despair".

According to the Qur'an, Iblees (satan) disobeyed God and as a result was forced out of heaven and given respite until the day of judgment from further punishment. Satan will divert many of Adam's own descendants from the straight path during his period of respite. Those who follow the way of satan will behave like satan, act like satan, talk like satan, think like satan, running amok -- they won't do what Quran teaches us to do, on the contrary they will do what Quran admonishes us NOT to do, for example "detention without trial", corruption, racism, murder, etc.

Allah in Arabic language also means "Most Compassionate", "Most Merciful", but those who follow the way of satan are the most ruthless and the most heartless!

Nowadays many people talk about ghost, devil, satan and hantu, most people believe in the existence of ghost, devil, satan and hantu, and yet few people have ever actually seen ghost, devil,satan and hantu; nonetheless, many, especially those who are absolutely corrupted by power, have manifested in the form of ghost, devil, satan and hantu!

Ghost, devil, satan and hantu are commonly used words to describe "bad and evil" beings of the "other" world who are out to steal, to kil and to destroy, they really exist in this world! ghost, devil, satan and hantu won't harm us directly, but they will use their human followers (their agents) to harm us. Adolf Hitler and many cruel dictators are their followers. Those who lock up innocent people are also their followers!

What Allah has taught us in the Quran is what they are against!
Let's think and think carefully who have gone astrayed and followed the path of satan, lest us follow in their footsteps and evil deeds.
May Allah open our eyes to distinguish right from wrong in this Holy Month of Ramadan.

May Allah bless our land and also protect us against the evil deeds of satan! Amin.

The government has denounced most of Raja Petra's allegations as lies.
Raja Petra's wife, Marina Lee Abdullah, said police came to their home on Friday to serve an arrest warrant on him.
Mdm Marina said police informed them he was being arrested under the Internal Security Act, a widely criticised law used against suspects regarded as national security threats.

(The Star) - The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, wants Umno to make efforts to strengthen the institution of the Malay rulers to enhance its role as the protector of the people, especially the Malays, and Islam.
“It’s not that we want more power but we need to study (the matter) so that this institution is not humiliated, mocked or belittled by anyone,” he said in an exclusive interview with Khabar Pahang, the state government’s official newspaper.
He said the abolition of the immunity of the rulers some time ago had indirectly given the impression that the institution was not on a sound footing and could become irrelevant.
But everyone should realise that the institution of the Malay rulers had played an effective role in the country’s development, he said.
He said that while the nation’s leaders were fighting for independence, the representatives of the Malay rulers had also participated, including in the talks in London.
In this context, it was not a question of who had more power, the executive, the government of the day or the institution of rulers but rather, of the Malay rulers and the ruling party having the spirit to co-exist so that the well-being and sovereignty of the nation were preserved at all times, he added. – Bernama

As a humble subject of His Majesty, I received the news with great joy that Malay Rulers are actively seeking power to protect the Malay interests and Islam. It is apparent that behind the facade of protecting Malay interests and Islam, Umnoputras have sought to fatten their coffers, and politics has cheaply become a channel for some megalomaniac Malays to gain wealth, fame and power, outwardly they act as a selfless hero fighting for Malays’ cause, inwardly and secretly they seek to enrich themselves, which is why “money politics” has become so rampant in Umno. The chiefs of each division of Umno throughout Malaysia are “full-time” warlords waiting to be served instead of serving the people. They are served with government projects, money, etc.

Over the last 50 years, Umno, under the guise of being Malay interests and Islam protector, has ruthlessly ruled our country and their blatant disregard for the rule of law, particularly in the government handling and treatment of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has made Malaysia an international laughing stock.

Umno’s pride and arrogance has over the years eroded our much cherished Constitutional Monarchy System, where the Conference of Rulers should act as a mechanism of check and balance to the government so as to curb corruption and abuse of power by the government. It is unfortunate that the Constitution has been amended several times since independence to suit the flavour of Umno to justify their continued exploitation in Malaysia!

The Royal Household shall not be allowed to slip into oblivion in Malaysia, instead the former dignity and special rights of Malay Rulers shall be restored to play an active role in the country’s development.

Prior to independence, Umno gained legitimacy from Sultans to begin a movement to protect the rights of Malays and Islam, and the movement evolved into the forming of a political party called Umno. If Umno has failed to uplift the standard of living of Malay masses over the last 50 years, Umno has lost the legitimacy to rule the country.

To provide justification for their failure and weaknesses, Umno has embarked on a race-based game to deflect and divert the attention from the government malpractice, Chinese has inevitably become the easy scapegoat and the community has been repeatedly and scurrilously accused of causing the poverty of the Malays. It is Malays who “control” the economy of Malaysia, not Chinese! (Please read my article titled: Malays Control the Economy of Malaysia, Not Chinese).

Umno’s “scapegoating” strategy has ripped Malaysia apart and brought about racial polarization and mistrust, if Chinese is the root-cause of the Malay problems; then would forced segregation between Malays and non-Malays solve the problems? Absolutely not! Imagine we transfer all the Chinese to Sabah from Malaysia Peninsula in 1963 when Sabah joined the Federation of Malaysia, would that make things better or easier for Umno to alleviate the Malay dilemma?

“Scapegoating” political parties will perilously lead Malaysia into a disastrous end. Instead of dealing with the actual problems and finding a feasible solution, “Scapegoating” party like Umno’s top priority is to find an easy scapegoat, when the easy scapegoat is no longer there (in 80 years’ time the number of Chinese in Malaysia will only make up to 3-5% of total population), Umno will have to find a new scapegoat and that could be another predominantly Malay political organization or the Malay Rulers or maybe "Jewish people" for causing the problems in the country.

Cambodians are no longer showing great reverence to the Royal Household, Nepal has jettisoned its Constitution Monarchy system and become a republic not too long ago, in Indonesia, the monarchy system has been destroyed and for the case of some West African countries, the Monarchs become the target of ridicule. If the people of a mono-ethnic country are living in poverty and not progressing well, the monarchy will easily become a target of criticism. Imagine a 100% Malay’s Malaysia in 100 years’ time, will Malay be better off or worse off?

Chinese dynasties of hundreds of years could disappear overnight because of peasants’ uprising. We shall never allow it to happen in Malaysia because the uniqueness of our Constitutional Monarchy system has served our country well and it is an inseparable and integral part of Malaysian history and heritage. The relevancy of our Monarch must be strengthened to protect the rights of the people. The poverty of the Malays must be uplifted and those who are tasked with helping the Malays must be made accountable and answerable to His Majesty and all Malaysians. Those Menteri Besars who are involved in corrupt practises must be brought to prostrate before the Sultans for breach of trust and abuse of power.

To protect the Malay interests and Islam, the following things must be done to achieve the goal:
1. Government must encourage Malays to embrace multiculturalism and diversity so they are able to integrate into global environment. Any policies tending to narrow the mind of the Malays must be immediately taken off. This seriously amounts to the obstruction of the development of mind of the Malays.

2. Government must hire the best Vice-Chancellors, professors, researchers and lecturers at the institutions of higher learning to educate Malays, so they will be equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge to compete internationally. All the unqualified, mediocre university Vice-Chancellors, professors, lecturers and teaching staff must be removed, lest Malay students suffer from mental and intellectual retrogression. Malays deserve to have the best teaching staff to lead them into intellectual enlightenment, not psyche them into believing the “pendatang” is the root-cause of their problems!

3. Only the ablest, honest, non-racist, highly capable and intelligent Malays can be appointed as Cabinet Ministers to serve the Malays. Malays deserve to have the best Malay leaders to serve them and we are uncompromising about it! All the second-class Malay ministers and politicians must be removed and let the 1st class take over! Potential candidates are as follows:
a).Dr Azly Rahman (Education and Higher Education Minister)

b).Raja Petra Kamaruddin (Home Affairs Minister)

c).Tunku Abdul Aziz of DAP (Finance Minister)

d).Harris Mohamed Ibrahim (De Facto Law Minister in Prime Minister Office)

e). Dr. Bakri Musa (Health Minister)

f).And many others.

4. To promote Islam, all the civil servants, officials and government ministers (including non-Muslim) must be requested to sign “Aku Janji” to be penalized under Hudud Laws, those who are caught taking bribery or involved in corruption will have their hand chopped off, repeat offender will have the other hand chopped off, and repeat “repeat” offender will have their leg loped off, and so on. We cannot tolerate the pillars of Malay society to be involved in corruption, adultery and embezzlement of government fund.

5. Malays deserve to have good Muslim leaders and good Muslims to emulate: Islam means "the peace of Allah or the submission to the Will of Allah". We must let the peace of Allah be felt in every facet of our society. Every Muslim must be taught to spread the message of peace and condemn violence. Draconian laws like ISA, OSA, etc which are against the teaching of Islam must be immediately repealed.

6. Only able, honest, responsible and capable Malays businessmen will be awarded government contracts.

Definition of “Control”, “Pegang” in Malay:
verb : to order, limit, instruct or rule something, or someone's actions or behaviour;

noun: the ability or power to decide or strongly influence the particular way in which something will happen or someone will behave, or the condition of having such ability or power.

1. According to the definition of “control”, Chinese community in Malaysia does not seem to have the ability to “control” the economy.

2. Chinese community in Malaysia never “controls” or “intend to control” the economy of Malaysia. Chinese only excel in doing businesses through hard work, guts, far-sightedness, education, extensive regional networks, a tenacious and indefatigable spirit to succeed, etc.

3. This entrepreneurial spirit of excellence in Chinese has helped Malaysia progress well and it has nothing to with “robbing the country” and “causing the miserable state of Malays’ poverty”.

4. On the contrary, Chinese contributions toward Malaysia economy have immeasurably helped stabilize our socio-economic development. Dr. Mahathir once said: “if we discount the non-Malay contribution to the nation economy, Malaysia would be not much better than some of the African developing countries”. With Chinese, Malaysia's become better off, not worse off!

5. Malay businessmen, like YB Dato Ahmad Ismail, can hardly acquire any entrepreneurial skills because Umno-led government has made no “genuine” effort to nurture “genuine” Malay entrepreneurs or businessmen.

6. Conversely, the policies and measures introduced by Umno has adversely, subtly and insidiously cultivated the Malays’ “crutch mentality”, which has also atrophied the brains and minds of Malays to be narrow-minded and short-sighted, best exemplified by the unsound statement made by YB Dato Ahmad Ismail and UiTM students’ demonstration against 10% intake of non-bumis students.

7. In order to underscore political expediency, Umno has opted to offer the Malays the easy ways to attain success without fair competition, which in turn has churned out thousands of so-called Malay entrepreneurs / businessmen who have been awarded lucrative contracts to carry out shoddy projects throughout the country and no legal actions will taken against them if they breach the government contracts, it is the people of Malaysia, regardless of race, language or religion, who have to bear the brunt of their failure and poor service.

8. Umno-led government gives nearly 100% of government projects to Umno cronies, and 99% of Umno cronies are Malays. The government has full control of Malaysia economy and government business policies are geared toward protecting the Malay entrepreneurs.

9. It requires “protectionism” to control and subtly monopolize the economy (refer to point 8 above) to exclude fair and transparent competition; if a mediocre Malay businessman can be awarded government contracts worth few million of riggit, that’s proven this particular Malay man has “control” over it because it won't happen in open market economy and there are thousands of similar Malay businessmen/contractors in Malaysia who have absolutely exclusive access to business opportunities. Therefore it is the Malays who control the economy of Malaysia, NOT Chinese!

10. Chinese entrepreneurial spirit of excellence and business skills ≠ Chinese control the economy of Malaysia! It is utterly ludicrous and preposterous to think and say Chinese control the economy of Malaysia. Malays wake up, Chinese also (especially MCA supporters) wake up, please!

In my next article I will provide detailed explanations to prove that Chinese do not "control" the economy of Malaysia and Chinese can never dominate Malaysia politics. Please stay tuned!

I appreciate positive and constructive comments, however, in dealing with racially sensitive issues, we have to debate rationally and professionally. Therefore, I will only publish positive comments, lest Malaysia government accuse me of inciting racial tensions.

An Open Letter to All Muslim Friends in Malaysia:

In this Holy month of Ramadan, I can’t help but to delve into the true meaning of fasting and to gain an insight into Allah’s instruction for His people to attain piety. Islam as a great faith in the world has greatly impacted the lives of billions. As a non-Muslim in Malaysia who has voluntarily chosen to fast with Muslims in Ramadan, I have come to an understanding that the effect of physical starvation will never outweigh spiritual strength/renewal obtained through fasting. Naturally or supernaturally, physical starvation or hunger will create a heart of compassion in us and make us empathise with the sufferings of others. Ramadan is also a month for all the Muslims to do soul-searching and attain higher spiritual level so as to having a sound mind to distinguish right from wrong – also to receive revelation from Allah.

Let’s look at what Quran says about fasting month of Ramadan:

"Ramadan is the (month) in which Qur'an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, and a clear guidance and judgement (so that mankind will distinguish right from wrong). Whoever among you witnesses the month of Ramadan should fast through it. But whoever is sick or on a journey, the prescribed period (missed should be made up) by days later. Allah wants ease for you and He does not want to put you into difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful" Q(2:185).

"O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for people before you so that you will (learn how to attain) piety" (Q2:183)

Since Ramadan is the (month) in which Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind, I have chosen to read the Quran in this Ramadan as part of my spiritual odyssey to seek the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Mighty Creator of the whole universe, to acquire basic understanding of Islam and to examine whether the non-Muslim world has wrongly accused Islamic faith and Muslims.
As a Malaysian of 33 years old, I am so ashamed to admit that I just learned the meaning of this word “Islam”, in fact Islam is derived from the Arabic root "Salema": peace, purity, submission and obedience. In the religious sense, Islam means submission to the will of Allah and the peace of Allah.

Part of my reading of Quran has led me to the knowledge of Allah’s creation of the whole universe. I personally feel that it takes more faith to believe in the Theory of Evolution or Darwinism as Nothing is Nothing, how can Nothing becomes Something? Everything must have a beginning, and with every beginning there comes a “beginner”. So I acknowledge it is Allah who created the whole universe or Allah could have ignited the big bang to set the whole universe in order and bring forth life. So as a non-Muslim, I share a common point with Muslims that it is Allah who created the universe.

What is more intriguing to me is that Allah is a Mighty Creator who gives mankind the freedom to choose what they want to do; in modern terms, it is a respect of human rights. Allah created Adam and Eve as the first couple of Homo sapiens, and Adam went on to become the first Prophet of Islam. So let’s follow the story about what happened to this wonderful couple.

According to Quran, Allah commanded Adam to dwell in Paradise: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimeen (wrong doers).(2:35)
Adam and eve were admitted to Paradise and there they lived the dream of all human beings. Allah permitted them to approach and enjoy everything except one tree that might have been the Tree of Pain or the Tree of Knowledge, some scholars call it Evil Tree. Allah said to Adam, "But come not near this tree or you both will be of the wrong doers." (2:35)

Adam was however a human being. Iblis (satan/devil) summoned all the envy within him and took advantage of Adam's humanity to exploit him. He started to whisper to him day after day, coaxing him: "Shall I guide you to the Tree of Immortality and the Eternal Kingdom?" He said to them: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals." He (Satan) swore by Allah to them both saying: "Verily I am one of the sincere well wishers for you both." (7:20-21)

Adam and Eve understood that they were forbidden by Allah to eat the fruit of that tree. But why Allah wanted to plant a tree in the Paradise?
1). Since Allah is Omniscient, Allah could have known beforehand that Adam and Eve would succumb to temption and therefore the removal of this evil tree must be made necessary, lest Adam and Eve fall into temptation,
2. Since Allah is Omnipresent, when Adam and Eve were about to approach the tree, Allah could appear in front of them and cautioned them against the serious consequences or Allah could stop the devil from talking to them, how could Allah leave them in the lurch?

Why Allah allowed this mishap to happen to Adam and Eve, whom Allah had created to dwell in the Paradise? And why satan could enter or appear in Paradise?
The obvious answers to the questions above is “FREE WILL”- that Allah allowed the existence of this evil tree in Paradise so Adam and Eve could learn how to conquer temptation and they could be completely at ease in the face of temptation as they had the Peace of Allah and the Peace with Allah. Allah wanted them to be cheerful and happy in the Paradise and the Peace of Allah would empower them to sail through the temptation. Allah won’t want Adam and Eve to shout and yell and hold placards protesting against the evil tree. The presence of satan in Paradise is truly symbolic of the possible blemishes/imperfection in a perfect world.

Allah is Omnipotent and the Creator of the whole universe, Allah could have made Adam and Eve like a robot without freedom to choose what they want to do, and by a click from Allah, Adam and Eve could be completely destroyed. But Allah breathed a breath of freedom into Adam’s life, a freedom that allowed Adam to even defy the command of Allah!

The end:
Adam and Eve left Paradise and descended upon the earth. Adam was sad and Eve was crying. Allah accepted their repentance because it was sincere and Allah told them that the earth would be their realm and origin where they would live and die and whence they would come on the Day of Judgment.

As I meditated on these Quranic verses, I can’t help but come to a deeper respect and appreciation for Allah’s magnanimity, loving-kindness and patience towards mankind, I couldn’t imagine how hard Adam and Eve had hurt Allah, but I know Allah is Merciful! Allah greatness is reflected through His meekness, gentleness, mercifulness, acceptance and forgiveness.

Dear Muslim friends, from Adam and Eve incident we can figure out that “innocence is not a virtue, but virtue is innocence tested”; only if Adam and Eve had overcome the temptation, could they be really counted as innocent. Allah wants His people to overcome temptation and be at peace with Him. Though Adam and Eve had failed to heed His command, Allah accepted their sincere repentance. Allah wants us to get up from where we’ve fallen down and move on with our life!

If Allah has allowed the Evil Tree and satan to appear in Paradise, who are we to close down discotheque and casino, ban pageant contest, ban bikini, ban alcohol, ban concert, etc in Malaysia? How can we justify a rapist sexual aggression against a scantily dressed girl? Can we lock up all the Muslim children in a remote village without internet access, TV and DVD player so when they grow up they won’t see the evil, hear the evil and talk the evil? No, we can never do that to our children! Living in seclusion is not the way Allah had prepared for Adam and Eve.
Allah never instructed Adam and Eve to burn down or bomb the Evil Tree as some religious bigots had done in our neighbouring countries. Instead, Allah said to them, “Enjoy your life here in Paradise and keep a distance from the evil tree and don’t eat the fruits.” After they failed to follow the command of Allah, Allah took the initiative to look for them and the sincere repentance of Adam and Eve moved the heart of Allah –The real problem with our society today is not that our corrupt Muslim politicians have eaten the forbidden fruits, but it is that they don’t have a heart of repentance at all after eating the forbidden fruits, and the forbidden fruits seem to taste sweeter and sweeter to them, it is a case of never “enough”.

Allah wants Muslims to be spiritual, NOT religious. Allah doesn’t want His people to over-emphasize on His Divinity and yet completely neglect His Humanity.

Allah wants Muslims to acknowledge the fact that He allows the world to become what it is today, to respect His authority that He has created different races with different cultures and different languages, if the Almighty Allah won’t want you to live in a multiracial environment, He would have created a world of the Muslims, by the Muslims and for the Muslims. Allah is Omnipotent, by one click He can easily move all the non-Muslims to the moon and achieve the goal of complete segregation between Muslims and non-Muslims, but Allah is Merciful and He has His ultimate purpose which both Muslims and non-Muslims may not be able to comprehend for the time being.
Since Allah has created mankind with different colors like black, yellow, white, orange, beige, etc, you and I have to accept it with a cheerful heart; racism has no room in our society as Islam forbids racism!

Ramadan is a significant month for all Muslims around the world, may all Muslims, including Jihadists, experience the Mercy of Allah in this festive season. Muslims will never “know” Allah without really “experiencing” the mercifulness of Allah.

May the physical fasting bring for more spiritual hunger for our Muslim politicians to fight for social injustices and the oppressed.

May the sincere repentance of Adam and Eve be seen in all of our Muslim politicians, who have secretly eaten the forbidden fruits.

May all the Muslims in Malaysia open up their hearts to embrace multiculturalism and diversity as Allah has permitted it to happen in Malaysia.

May all the Muslims in Malaysia be able to distinguish right from wrong in this fasting month of Ramadan to discard all the bad leaders so righteousness and justice can be re-installed in our country.

May Islam-“peace and purity” saturates into every corner of our society.

May Allah protect our country, bless our King and Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim!

Last but not least, I would like to wish all Muslim friends in Malaysia Happy Hari Raya.

A Brief History of Negeri Bloggerjaya & Its Struggle and Contribution Towards a Progressive and Democratic Malaysia

The progress of the history of mankind revolves around the invention and development of science and technology. With newer ways of doing things comes new civilization and new social order, and thereby the birth of Negeri Bloggerjaya in the Federation of Malaysia.
Negeri Bloggerjaya was annexed into the Federation of Malaysia to become the first and only State without geographical boundary of the Federation in 1980 when the Internet took shape. However, it only came into prominence in 2008 after being “dormant” for nearly 28 years. Negeri Bloggerjaya’s sacred mission is to set Malaysia and Malaysians free - and to spearhead the free flow of information in the country.
Negeri Bloggerjaya has helped spark off the fire of reformation in the country and therefore it is a thorn in the flesh for the Federal Government. The defiant and undaunted state government of Negeri Bloggerjaya has won the respect and admiration from other states of the country.
Even the former Prime Minister of the Federal Government, Dr. Mahathir, has decided to reconcile with Negeri Bloggerjaya and is presently an active resident of Negeri Bloggerjaya. The Chief Minister of Negeri Bloggerjaya is YAB Raja Petra Kamarudin. Among other State Excos, Harris Ibrahim is taking care of legal affairs; Dr. Azly Rahman is tasked with the education portfolio.
Malaysia has been independent for 51 years. Instead of having real independence and freedom for Malaysians, we have unknowingly replaced the British Colonial government with a more suppressive and tyrannical regime; the few at the apex of power has brought our country to the brink of bankruptcy to fuel their unquenchable greed, and the brutal regime is oblivious to the suffering and hardship we have endured for the last 51 years.
Instead of being a government of the people, by the people and for the people, the government has enslaved the Rakyat to fulfill their whims and fancies. They trample our voice of freedom under their feet! The Malaysian people, with the help of Negeri Bloggerjaya, have managed to work together regardless of race, language and religion in an attempt to topple the regime. So far, 5 states have been set free – excluding Negeri Bloggerjaya – which was free before the Federal Government sabotage.
As freedom of speech is enshrined in the State Constitution of Negeri Bloggerjaya, many Malaysians have decided to reside in Negeri Bloggerjaya. They will not be charged with ISA, OSA, or whatever ridiculous, unscrupulous and draconian laws/acts against humanity. To retaliate against Negeri Bloggerjaya’s defiant stance against the Federal Government, the Federal Government has sent in their spies to sabotage Negeri Bloggerjaya and infiltrate the State Administration.
The Official Residence of our Chief Minister YAB Raja Petra Kamarudin has been raided several times; and they have set up a kangaroo court to try him. The Federal Government has even threatened to exterminate and annihilate the entire Negeri Bloggerjaya with the same type of bombs that has killed a Mongolian girl called Altantuya. But, we are unfazed and unafraid as Negeri Bloggerjaya is impervious to bomb attacks and all residents of Negeri Bloggerjaya have consumed a new medicine called Elixir Today (ET) which has empowered us to regenerate and reincarnate in the blink of an eye.
We will continue our fight against the immoral and corrupt regime until Malaysia shines under the sun of freedom.
We, the residents of Negeri Bloggerjaya and faithful citizens of Malaysia, urge you to join our cause for a better Malaysia!

“就是你們害慘我”‧阿末不自省反責怪《星洲日報》。为什么华文报记者一直听错？！

（檳城）因發表“寄居論”而惹得满身蟻的巫統升旗山區部主席拿督阿末依斯邁不自我檢討，反而責怪星洲日報害慘了他，並且要星洲日報負起全責。
阿末依斯邁於週四9月4日）下午接到星洲日報記者撥打的電話時，劈頭第一句就說：“星洲？就是你，就是你害到我這個樣子……是你們開始所有的一切，你們要負起全部責任！”
記者回答：“噢，不是我，是我的同事負責採訪。”
他接著回答：“都一樣，是你們將我害成這個樣子。”　
當記者問他：“不是你嗎，這個事件不是因你而起嗎？不是你要負起責任嗎？”
阿末依斯邁說：“不是，一切都是因你們而起。我不要跟你們講話。我會在週六召開新聞發佈會。謝謝，拜拜。”
然後，阿末依斯邁就掛斷電話。之後，記者再嘗試重撥阿末依斯邁的手機，但電話已無人接聽。再撥打時阿末依斯邁索性關掉手機。
過了1小時，記者再用手機撥通阿末依斯邁的電話，只表示要問一個問題（你是否會為自己的言論道歉）；但他一聽到星洲記者打來，連問題都不要聽，馬上說：“星洲？我不要跟你們講話……謝謝，拜拜！”

小弟我听说某某报纸错误报导有蔡细利医生的讲话，把蔡医生的讲话错误报导成：“若蔡细利当选马华公会总会长马华将会退出国阵”。这就不应该啦，我们举国上下都知道只有记者错误报导巫统领袖或党员的讲话，这次连蔡细利医生的讲话也报导错误，你们这些新闻从业员最好还是把语文能力掌握好一点，不要常常错误报导，报错巫统领袖的讲话就算啦，连马华领袖的讲话都报导错误就不行啦！你们这些来自华文新闻媒体工作者也真是的，从来不见得你们错误报导行动党领袖的讲话，唉，这是怎么搞的嘛？不过没有关系啦，我们这些读者多年来都已经习惯了华文媒体错误报导的“习惯”，也因如此你们更常常的被误解及背上了“反政府”的罪名，先天耳朵听觉有问题已经够可怜了，我们是可以谅解的，同时也会尽量配合你们去多读一些“错误”报导。蔡医生，您就大人不记小人过，原谅有关记者，也配合配合一下错误报导吧，

An Open Letter to all DAP Leaders and Members (2):

Dear DAP leaders and Members:

I received many feedback and comments from my previous letter to you and to my surprise, many of your members and supporters still fail to understand my simple and basic argument for the need of DAP to engage Malay electorate and therefore be able to play a greater and effective role in Malaysia politics in order to substantially and substantively achieve the goal of building a just, corruption-free and democratic society. Isn’t it true that if DAP has the support of Malay electorate, DAP can achieve greater “political efficiency” to build a first-class, progressive and vibrant Malaysia that will one day surpass Singapore, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Australia, etc? What I am arguing about is political pragmatism. Political pragmatism is no oxymoron and we should not degrade it into a form of political expediency, instead, political pragmatism is a form of instrumentalism geared to emergent ends-in-view. It refers knowledge to experience, to the consequences of ideas and action, and to the possibilities inherent in present relationships; it also places considerable faith in education and communication as ways of creating the conditions necessary for democratic social change. Rather than starting out from "problems" in experience, political pragmatism starts from experience as a kind of work - namely, the work that must be done either to maintain or to change existing political situation. To achieve democratic social change, DAP must painstakingly explore various new channels to educate and communicate with Malay electorate, and DAP should always be cautious of the consequences of its ideas and action, lest them provide space for Umno to incite racial hatred, for example, if Umno challenges DAP to table bill in Parliament on the removal of Article 153, DAP’s reaction could trigger the unthinkable for Pakatan Rakyat and the country. My argument is crystal clear that if DAP foolishly dances to Umno’s tune, not just DAP, the Rakyat, will be the ultimate loser! DAP should have the knowledge that the police was instructed by a Umno strong man to approve the parade permit for the opposition in May 1969, DON’T let history to repeat itself.
Some accused me of demeaning DAP and conveniently forgetting DAP hardship and sacrifices over the last 40 years; as the opening line of my previous letter to you, I clearly state that I have never doubted DAP’s firm and principled stand against corruption, social injustices, ISA, etc. DAP’s struggle and unwavering commitment toward a fair and just society has resulted in the incarceration of many its leaders from 60s to 90s, DAP has paid a big price for being a party of principle, which is undaunted of Umno systematic threat and intimidation, DAP leaders courage and unswerving fighting spirit against Umno hegemony has earned the respect and admiration from largely non-Malay/Muslim community in the country, I won’t even deny the fact that DAP has won some Malay electorate, but they are the minority of the minorities, and majority of them voted for DAP not because they identified with DAP’s ideology or DAP’s courage to confront or expose Umno-led government corrupt practices, rather, they voted for DAP in March General Election mainly on account of DAP’s alliance with PKR and PAS.
One of the DAP MPs is a secondary school dropout who can’t speak proper Malay, English and even his mother tongue Chinese, and yet he was thrust into being a candidate in March General Election because that particular constituency is an MCA stronghold and DAP was not able to field a “willing” candidate of comparative qualities to contest with the MCA candidate, who is an effectively trilingual lawyer; the result: DAP candidate won the election by 700-odd votes, and this is the first time in Malaysia history that an unknown DAP candidate’s managed to garner considerable number of Malay votes in an MCA stronghold. DAP’s winning of this constituency was largely due to its’ alliance with PAS and PKR. To become a truly multi-racial and independent political party, DAP must be prepared to go beyond the racial line and capture the Malay electorate on its own, lest Pakatan Rakyat evolves into another form of BN, and this overdependence on PAS and PKR for Malay votes will only cause DAP to further suffer from “crutch mentality”; just imagine what happens if PKR or PAS disappears from politics like Semangat 46? DAP could probably become crippled and handicapped in its relation with Malay electorate. I applaud some of the PAS leaders for their courage to raise the issue of letting non-Muslims be PAS members and allow non-Muslims to contest in General Election under PAS banner, this is truly a breakthrough of mindset for PAS. We can’t expect PAS to change overnight, but we deeply believe that DAP has the potential to grow into a full-fledged multi-racial and well-rounded political party where different races can come together to fight for the real common issues of corruption, human rights abuses, mismanagement and wastage of public fund, government inefficiencies, etc; these commonalities should provide DAP with ample ammunition to unite the million hearts of Malaysians regardless of race, language and religion to remove Umno’s streak of ruthlessness and blatant disregard for the rule of law! I received numerous emails from DAP members and supporters telling me that it is too difficult and almost impossible for DAP to effectively reach out to Malay electorate, we understand it is not easy for DAP, on its own, to appeal for Malay voters’ support and it could be a long march in order to win the trust and heart of Malay electorate, and this is what political party idealism is all about, DAP must live up to what it claims to be a truly multi-racial political party.
I mentioned it’s pointless for DAP to play zero sum game with MCA, MIC and Gerakan as they are parasite parties serving Umno first, second themselves and third their respective ethnic communities. In spite of their continuing plea for racial equality, Umno has remained unfazed over the years, if MCA and Gerakan pull out of BN now, Umno will have a new revival! You can figure it out yourself what I am trying to say. Over the last 40 years, DAP has thrown MCA, Gerakan, MIC and other BN component parties into the sea of condemnation for not defending our rights, they should not be the target of blame as they were just roped in to play the role of puppet in BN, Umno is the puppeteer. If the mighty DAP can’t even shake Umno up, let alone these puppet parties in BN. Again, we need to think that who have given Umno such a tremendous power and authority? Is it possible to get their support and inform them of how Umno has squandered our national wealth and brought Malaysia to the brink of destruction? Who are Umno cronies? Aren’t they the 4D, ToTo, casino operators? Aren’t we so ignorant that Umno’s Chinese cronies had contributed significantly to Umno campaign funds in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. These Umno agents have helped Umno suppress the Rakyat! If DAP dares to hold MCA responsible for not defending our rights, DAP must confront the Chinese cronies for supporting Umno to trample on the rights of Chinese, so DAP you dare to close ToTo, 4D, Horse-Racing, Casino? One of your party supporters asked me what happens if they go “underground”? At least we know underground casino operators never support Umno to destroy Malaysia.
In my letter to you, I also wrote about why we need to have more good Malay ministers to be in new cabinet if Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is able to form a new government, it is apparently that Chinese voted for DAP for good governance, stability and the equal treatment of all Malaysian, Chinese won’t simply vote for DAP to get more Chinese ministers or Deputy Prime Minister post. If the new government fails to deliver what it’s promised, DAP can exercise its power in Pakatan Rakyat to act as a mechanism to provide check and balance to the new administration. We need more able and honest Malay ministers to change the mindset of Malay and this is the first time in our history that good, able, open-minded and honest Malay could be brought into cabinet to serve the country. As DAP does not have many Malay party members, DAP should deepen its effort to work with good Malay leaders regardless partisan background to carry out reform agenda, unfortunately, it is widely known that some DAP Chinese state leaders are too preoccupied with contesting in general election and unwillingly to yield parliamentary seat to good Malay leaders, in 1995 general election DAP Selangor was reluctant to even yield a parliamentary seat to Dr. Syed Husin Ali, who is without doubt a much respected Malay intellect and a pioneer in human rights. Hopefully for the case of Cabinet posts allocation DAP won’t behave likewise.
Many of your supporters and members asked me how DAP could recruit more Malay party members, I mentioned earlier that it is a long march to transform DAP into a truly full-fledged multi-racial party and it can be full of hindrances, in my next letter to you I will list out the things DAP has to do in order to reach out to Malay, for example, setting up a Malay Bureau, having a pure Malay version website, receiving Datukship, etc, I will explain in details and the rationales why it has to be done to win the trust and heart of Malay. Nevertheless, DAP can begin in Penang where it has found a perch to prove to the Malay electorate that the new state government has better policies to usher prosperity and further uplift the standard of living of the people and how Malay can benefit from it in the long run. I also mentioned it in my last letter, free and compulsory remedial classes are important for Malay to improve their academic performance. DAP can start reaching out to Malay in all PR-controlled states.

小弟我听说某某报纸错误报导有蔡细利医生的讲话，把蔡医生的讲话错误报导成：“若蔡细利当选马华公会总会长马华将会退出国阵”。这就不应该啦，我们举国上下都知道只有记者错误报导巫统领袖或党员的讲话，这次连蔡细利医生的讲话也报导错误，你们这些新闻从业员最好还是把语文能力掌握好一点，不要常常错误报导，报错巫统领袖的讲话就算啦，连马华领袖的讲话都报导错误就不行啦！你们这些来自华文新闻媒体工作者也真是的，从来不见得你们错误报导行动党领袖的讲话，唉，这是怎么搞的嘛？
不过没有关系啦，我们这些读者多年来都已经习惯了华文媒体错误报导的“习惯”，也因如此你们更常常的被误解及背上了“反政府”的罪名，先天耳朵听觉有问题已经够可怜了，我们是可以谅解的，同时也会尽量配合你们去多读一些“错误”报导。

一封写给蔡细利医生的公开信

尊敬的拿督蔡细利医生：

您好！
首先先预祝您在马华的党选中能够旗开得胜，协助解决困扰华社多年的问题，更让马华在马来西亚的政治历史发展进程中步入更辉煌的一页！
小弟我非常敬仰您对政治工作的热忱，对民族对国家的使命感，而在马华党选即将来临之际，小弟我也不断的向大家解释说为什么我们华社需要有一个像您这样有破例有冲劲的领袖，但许多来自马华公会内外的人士都对小弟的想法深感不解，为此小弟仅能冒昧向您发出一封公开信以向全国华裔及来自马华公会的同志们解释为什么我们需要蔡细利医生领导马华公会。
在马来西亚从事政治工作本来就是一份苦差事，就算当上了部长一个月也赚它不过20千马币，马华的部长更要经常南山北下风尘仆仆处理政务及党务，其工作之艰苦我们华社都非常清楚。但小弟为何对您钦佩万分，积极为您拉票，这还是有以下几个主要原因：

1。小弟对您充沛的体力表示欣赏：之前说到从政本来就是苦差事，舟车劳苦，但在您还在担任部长的时候，尽管党务及政务繁重，您竟然能够多次从吉隆坡直奔柔佛州Batu Pahat的某酒店的某间房做身体运动，路途遥远啊！这绝非泛泛之辈能够忍受的煎熬，若体力或身体健康不行的话，早已暴毙旅途了。我们需要一位身体强壮体力充沛的马华公会总会长，不要像林良实那样要死要死的，更不要像家定哥那样讲话小小声地，要像您那样能够“征服”的总会长。。。小弟猜想可能您是一名医生，必定服了什么良药妙方在50来岁之年宝剑依然犀利无比！若有什么好“补药”一定要跟华社分享哦，让华社也补一补嘛！

2。小弟对您在担任部长的表现非常钦佩，一位成功的人对时间的安排与管理是拿捏得非常好的，当卫生部长不仅要处理政务，还要兼顾选区的工作及马华的党务，在百忙中您还能抽出时间到Batu Pahat的某间酒店的某间房做身体运动和交女朋友，小弟在时间的管理和安排上一定要向您多多讨教，马华公会就是需要一位像您能够在百忙中抽出时间聆听华社心声的总会长，不管在忙您都能够抽出时间为我们服务，我们需要您！！

3。小弟对您坚强的斗志与态度表示最深的赞许：若同样的事情发生在小弟的身上，恐怕我已经自杀了，若不死的话也已经患上忧郁症，但您的斗志坚强，丝毫不喂惧任何媒体的批论，若以此斗志为华社服务不是我们华社最大的莫大福祗吗？若此事发生在诗杰，家定，或是良实身上，他们早就跑去国外做乌龟岂敢像您一样面对现实？？

4。小弟坚信巫统已经不能拿什么威胁您了：您在Batu Pahat某间酒店某间房间做身体运动时不小心被人拍到没有穿衣服，而房间刚好又有一个异性在做身体运动也没有穿衣服，竟然被拍了就算了吧，偶尔拿来回味一下也无妨，您已经赤裸裸摆在举国上下，因此没有什么好惧怕的了，小弟因此坚信您更能够与巫统开展政治较量，不像那个家定，怕死怕死这样，更不像那个诗杰，假扮清高，看到巫统就静静了！男人嘛做做身体运动是难免的，您也不要放在心上了！若您代表马华跟巫统谈判不顺利的时候，不妨出示照片或VCD,让他们见识一下什么是“真东西”，知道您的厉害！！！

5。小弟对您提出马华要和巫统谈判啦，要退出国阵啦都深表支持：小弟才疏学浅，在马路边的咖啡档口听说了若您当选马华总会长要退出国阵，哎哟大件事啊，不过综合以上的条件您应该是言出必行的，。。。不过不过小弟在此有个小小的请求，既然贵公子是您带领下进入国阵而且马上搭上了直升机去安全区选国会议员，不知您能否先叫贵子先退出国阵，无需加入民联，做独立人士先嘛，届时您当上总会长后马华的另外14名国会议员在跟随您的号召下一起脱离国阵，这不就是更精彩吗？让马华在脱离国阵时就像您在Batu Pahat某间酒店的某间房间脱裤子的那样爽快，让举国华社上下都一起“爽”一下嘛。

蔡医生小弟已多次告诉周边友人及马华党内人士，华社若需要道德清高的领导和巫统谈判及率领华社突破目前的困境，我们倒是可以去佛堂去找和尚，到教堂去找牧师和巫统慢慢谈，然后在慢慢的等待各种解决方案，但这是不切实际的做法，华社需要的是像您这样的一头脱缰野马仿佛从柔佛州Batu Pahat的某间酒店的某间房间刚放出来，奔驰在马来西亚政坛的荒地旷野之中不受牵制的奔向绿洲流水之地，让华社看到前方路途的曙光。

小弟由于家境贫寒，在加上以前马华没有像您这样有勇气，有破例及浑身是劲的人出来选总会长，以致华人在马来西亚受高等教育的机会有限，所以那个时候我读到9号就要出来赚钱养家了，这几年都是靠自己读报纸和在路边咖啡店听消息学来了许多东西，因此文笔不好，希望您多多见谅，更希望您当选马华公会总会长后能够在教育的领域里为华人争取多一点的读书机会，不要像我一样只有9号文凭，“高不成，低不就”，像马来西亚许多华人青年一样徘徊在无奈的十字路口。不过您当上总会长后华裔青年一定有希望了，每一位华裔青年都应该向您学习如何保持身体健康，体力充沛，懂得如何做好时间安排，用最短时间做最多的事，如何处理压力及忧郁症，最重要的是每位华裔青年应该向您学习如何在跌倒后如何从新爬起来！人不贵于无过，只贵于能改过，小弟全力支持蔡细利先生竞选马华公会总会长，这是小弟的真心话。。。

AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL DAP LEADERS AND MEMBERS:

The majority of the Malays support UMNO; and UMNO has plundered and mismanaged the wealth of this country with impunity. Therefore, to change the fate of our nation is to change the mentality of the Malays. This is the ONLY solution!
Without doubt, DAP has struggled and fought fearlessly and tirelessly over the past 4 decades aspiring to build a democratic and progressive Malaysia regardless of race and religion. However, I can only conclude that over the past 4 decades, DAP has completely failed to fight against the UMNO hegemony in the country.
DAP had never prepared itself to be the alternative of BN until 08 March 2008. And we have to acknowledge that DAP had been dragged and manipulated by UMNO to become or at least seen to become a Chinese-Chauvinist political party. The fact is that without PAS or Anwar Ibrahim, DAP will NEVER be able to engage the Malay electorate. The leadership of DAP has long been luxuriating in being recognized as the "Chinese Hero" or "Non-Muslims' Rights Defender".
Since DAP's inception in 1966, the Party has failed to recognize the basic and simple fact that it is the Malays who decide the sort of leaders they want and they have voted UMNO in for 12 consecutive General Elections.
UMNO had always been perceived as the sole defender of Malay supremacy with their special rights and privileges, even if it is at the expense of other ethnic groups. It doesn't require complex political analysis to understand that the MAJORITY of Malays had always been staunch supporters of UMNO. If they refuse to change their voting preference, the status quo is going to remain. The more we challenge it, the stronger UMNO will be. Thus, for DAP to directly clash with UMNO will further enhance its image as a Chinese-based party and provide UMNO with an opportunity to have more Malay sympathizers.
An example is, if they increase the number of scholarships for non-bumis, UMNO can easily tell the Kampong Malays that they have succumbed to the pressure of MCA, Gerakan and MIC. The Malays will immediately give their strong endorsement to UMNO to defend their rights. DAP, as one of the strongest opposition parties in Malaysia, is still failing to comprehend the racial game played by UMNO.
Instead of directly engaging the Malay electorate, DAP chooses to play the ZERO SUM GAME with MCA and Gerakan. These 3 Chinese-based political parties lack the basic political wisdom to survive independently in our multi-racial country where Malays/Muslims are the majority. At least we know UMNO can easily survive by means of communalism and form the government with smaller political parties.
No matter how hard DAP argues or debates with MCA or Gerakan, it won’t change the fixed mindset or mentality of the Malay electorate. Neither will MCA or Gerakan be forced to change the mindset of the Malays by DAP!
Remember the iron fact that the majority of the Malays support UMNO; and UMNO has plundered and mismanaged the wealth of this country with impunity. Therefore, to change the fate of our nation is to change the mentality of the Malays. This is the ONLY solution!
As our most respected Regent of Perak, Dr. Nazrin Shah put it, "The Malay mindset is a crucial factor in our nation's stability”. Dr. Nazrin further elaborated that, “racial prejudice can be erased if the Malay mindset is stable and comfortable towards forging harmony. It is a pre-condition to our nation's stability".
May I ask Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Karpal Singh, or even the writer Liew Chin Tong, how much has DAP done over the past 40 years to change the mindset of the Malays? How much has DAP done to win the trust of the Malays? How many times has DAP challenged UMNO in open debate on the academic performance of Malay students?
Instead of getting closer and winning the hearts and trust of the Malay electorate, DAP has chosen to fight with MCA and Gerakan to play the role of Chinese Hero.Worse still, after struggling for more than 40 years in Malaysia’s political history, DAP still doesn't have the slightest inkling of what "political courtship" is all about. Even the MOST STUPID salesman knows how to be courteous to customers and win their trust.
DAP chooses to shun Malay electorate and frighten them by: a) Refusing to wear songkok, b) Raising the issue of Social Contract, c) Immediate abolition of positive discrimination policies
It's made me wonder whether DAP is paid by UMNO to strengthen their grass root supporters! If I were a DAP leader, I would ostentatiously wear the Songkok to pro-actively court and seek Malay support for DAP. I would put aside the issue of the Social Contract and would clearly and carefully pinpoint the weaknesses of the NEP to the Malay masses before revising it.
If the Umnoputras liken the fate of the Malays in Penang to the Malays in Singapore, how is YAB Mr. Lim Guan Eng going to answer this question or "accusation"? What YAB Mr. Lim Guan Eng will do is to imitate his predecessor Dr. Koh by keeping his mouth shut and be speechless. Silence means consent!
DAP should pro-actively and sincerely urge the Malay masses to look beyond the tiny island of Singapore and focus on the plight of Malays in Batam, Bintang, Karimun and even the slum areas in Jakarta. Ask them to compare whether Singapore Malays are better off or Batam Malays are better off.
I can help organize special tours for all the Malays/bumiputras in Malaysia to visit all the Indonesian islands surrounding Singapore to see for themselves how the Malays there are living in abject poverty and sordid conditions. Many young girls in Batam, Bintang and Karimun have to prostitute themselves to feed their family. They are also deprived of the opportunity to receive basic education and training. And we know many of them have to leave their families to become maids in Singapore and Malaysia.
We should challenge UMNO – NOT to protect the Malays in Singapore, but the Malays in Batam, Bintang and Karimun! We are not defending Singapore, but we have to speak the truth to the Malay masses. Enlighten them and so they won't be blinded and misguided by UMNO. Shame on our Education Minister who expressed the need to travel to the UK to save "our" so-called prodigy Sufiah. He should go to Batam Island to join the UN's efforts to curb child prostitution!
For DAP’s information, Singapore Malays have progressed very well. Over the last 15 years, they have improved significantly in their academic performance. Singapore Malays have the highest percentage of home ownership as compared to the Malays in Malaysia and Indonesia! DAP does not have to defend PAP, but I would encourage YAB Mr. Lim to invite Dr. Mahathir for a telecast debate on the plight of Malays in Singapore.
Dr. Mahathir always reminds the Malays in our country to look at the Malays in Singapore, how “miserable” they are without firm control in politics. For Mahathir's information, the Singapore Parliament Speaker is a Malay and the Finance Minister an Indian Muslim like Mahathir. And so far, I have not heard of Singapore Malays being maids in Malaysia or Indonesia, and neither have I heard of a large number of young Malay girls in Singapore prostituting themselves to feed their family.
As Islam is the official religion of Malaysia, DAP leaders should openly and publicly support the teachings of the Quran in our country. I voted for PAS on 8th March to close down casinos, horse-racing, 4D and TOTO. Non-Muslims have long been paying a second tax to the UMNO government by "gambling-off" their whole family savings and children’s education to win the trust and respect of Malays and Muslims.
DAP should advocate the closure of casinos, 4D, TOTO, and horse-racing as all these vice activities operators are UMNO agents. They take gambling money from non-Muslims and pay it to their UMNO Master. To cut off this source of revenue for UMNO, DAP should explain to the non-Muslim community how this gambling system works in Malaysia – and teach UMNO a lesson as we must expose UMNO’s hypocrisy!
Unfortunately, DAP leaders don't appear to have the intelligence, wit, courage and political will to have the paradigm shift and think out of the box politically. As mentioned earlier, DAP is just a political party helplessly manipulated by UMNO. By just simply advocating the banning of gambling, DAP could win the respect and trust of Malays and Muslims plus save many non-Muslims from bankruptcy and family problems. But most importantly, it cuts off a large chunk of revenue from UMNO. ONE stone killing 3 birds.
Instead of shouting and arguing with ridiculous Umnoputras in Parliament, I urge DAP to instruct each of their members to befriend at least 10 Malays to explain to them the challenge of this ever-changing globalized economy and how we have to work together regardless of race and religion for a better Malaysia. When the Malay mindsets change, Malaysia will change; and vice-versa.
DAP, hear me and hear me well. You may be sincere, but you are sincerely wrong in Malaysian politics. Go and study what made UMNO strong. Do your political analysis. Also, DAP, you must remember that PAS is your true friend, even though they talked with UMNO. They are righteous and godly people that won't succumb to the temptation of money. That is not the case with Keadilan. Except Anwar and a few top leaders, many Keadilan people are still carrying the UMNO-DNA, as we have witnessed with the running dog Ezam and Nalla betraying the party.
DAP, you should acknowledge the fact that the special rights and position of Malays/bumiputras are enshrined in our constitution. You have to respect it. You must have a complete and comprehensive Malay agenda to compete with UMNO. For example, the Penang state government can provide free but compulsory tuition for Penang Malay students at schools. DAP must cultivate and nurture the Malays in Penang to excel in academics and be able to compete on equal footing with others. Penang Malays must be the locomotive change of mindset to the rest of the Malays in our country. If DAP fails to change the Malay mindset in Penang, DAP will never be qualified to be addressed as a "National" party. Lastly, DAP, you still have a long way to go and you really have to learn again who's given UMNO power. Go to their power base, seize their power and cut off their power supply! For a progressive and better Malaysia, wearing the songkok is a trivial matter.
If necessary, let Anwar’s new cabinet be full of capable Malays like Dr. Syed Husin Ali, Dr. Azly Rahman, Dr. Bakri Musa, Tuanku Abdul Aziz, etc. to prove to the Malay masses that we, Chinese, are not power hungry; we don't choose to "pegang" so as to destroy their livelihood as UMNO has claimed. We can prove to them that even though there is only 1 Chinese Minister in the Cabinet, it is still okay to us if the highly capable and honest Malay leaders can lead our country to greater heights and serve the rakyat wholeheartedly regardless of race, language and religion!
